“We ordered a meal last night 3rd Jan and it was the best Chinese we have had for a long time! Delivery was 40 mins even though they said 1 hour, and food just delicious. We ordered satay skewered, chicken chow mein, beef chow mein, special chow mein and crispy chilli beef.”

We tried nine different items, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and each one had a delicious, homemade touch. The flavors were authentic, hearty, and truly felt like a meal cooked with love. “Lovely little vegan restaurant. Quite close to roath park which was very nice to explore and the area seemed quite nice too with lots of other little shops and cafes. I had the quiche which was quite nice! A little salty for my personal taste but quite flavourful. It had a really nice crisp pastry. Would definitely visit again when next in Cardiff to try some of their other dishes. My friend had the Thai curry which was quite nice too. She also had the Pina colada smoothie which she said was very nice. It was fairly busy but we were able to get a table for two without booking in advance at around 12:40 on a Sunday. We did find it a little difficult to have a conversation when the blender was running, but otherwise the atmosphere was lovelt. Can't wait to visit again when next in the area!”

“Pim cooks really tasty Thai food. The menu does change, and you have to order ahead of time via text. We had satay chicken to start, the satay sauce was insanely good and the chicken well cooked and juicy. Dim Sum was tasty but paled in comparison to the satay sauce. Mains we had massamam curry, rich and deeply flavoured well it partnered well with jasmine rice. Also had tamarind duck which was absolutely stunning, juicy fatty deboned duck with a sweet sticky tamarind sauce. Had the coconut rice alongside this which was incredibly tasty itself. It's bring your own drinks, so you save a bomb if you fancy some wine with the meal. Pim loves getting the guitar out and signing for you after too! Highly recommend pims. Edit 2023: Pim has smashed it out the park again. This time I had Chicken Chilli Basil and it was absolutely stunning. Unbelievably good flavours. The Satay starter was again divine. Pim even did karaoke with us after!”

“I'd been meaning to book Anna-Loka for some time after seeing it on Dirty Vegan and reading the positive reviews about the food there. My partner and I have recently gone vegetarian, so I finally booked us a table for our first vegan experience and it didn't disappoint. We had the sharing platter for our starter and the menanam burger for our main. It was quite simply delicious! The deserts were great too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service very swift. We left the restaurant feeling very content and will definitely be visiting again. Well done, Adam, you've created a fantastic little restaurant here!”

“Exceptional food and service. Matt was really helpful with recommendations and I ended up going with the Vietnamese Curry which was fantastic. Full of flavour and spice! “Go in to have a authentic Kerala food experience without travelling all the way to Kerala, India. Even the interior takes you back to Kerala. Would prefer to reserve the table, and it can become bit busy. I would surely come again if I pass through Cardiff. This restaurant is for people who wants to spend some time together and have food and not for people who are in for quick bite.”

“I absolutely love this place! Every time I visit, the food is consistently delicious and packed with authentic Thai flavor. At this point, I’ve probably tried nearly everything on the menu, and it’s all been fantastic. The dishes are always fresh, flavorful, and true to traditional Thai cooking. Not only is the food outstanding, but the prices are also very reasonable, which makes it even better. I happily drive 40 minutes each way just to eat here at least once a month it’s that good! “Good Italian home style cooking. The mushroom starter was soft and wonderfully seasoned. The cod was flaky in a delicate sauce. The home made Tiramisu was literally a melt in the mouth miracle. We sat outside and the whole time a waiter was outside watching to see if anyone needed anything.”

“Went to Yakitori1 for lunch before Book of Mormon at the Millennium Centre. Really excellent food and service. We had the Robata Nigiri Surf n Turf, the flamed Nigiri special, Dragon roll and Kaarage chicken noodles. All were delicious although we both felt the Surf n Turf Nigiri was nice but didn't warrant the price. Overall paid £90 for the food and two beers. Would definitely go here again when on Cardiff Bay”
