Govindaβs Cardiff is a wonderful place to eat. The food is wholesome, flavourful, and clearly prepared with care and love. There is a great range of vegetarian and vegan options, all freshly cooked and very satisfying. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it a lovely spot to slow down and enjoy a peaceful meal. The team are friendly and kind, and the overall experience feels nourishing for both body and mind. Excellent value for money and somewhere I would happily return to and recommend to others. Haribol!

The ambience of this Govinda's vegetarian restaurant was absolutely amazing, with a calm and quiet atmosphere that made the experience very relaxing. The Indian food was incredibly delicious, packed with authentic flavours and perfectly balanced spices. We tried the samosas, kachori, and aloo vada, and each item was fresh, crisp, and full of taste. The papdi chaat was a real highlight, bursting with flavour and beautifully put together. Everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared. They don't have the thali option yet as they do in London but I had a chat with the guy and probably they are going to introduce it in future. A perfect place for anyone looking to enjoy great vegetarian Indian food in a peaceful setting.

Top lunch choice in Cardiff city center! Healthy, vegetarian, tasty food. Lovely selection of teas and lattes! Served by super-friendly staff Very, very reasonable price. Great atmosphere with comfy sofas to chat or just relax with one of the books they offer. The best is their social purpose and community contribution (you can even top up your bill to pay a meal for someone in need).

Wonderful vegan place to support in Cardiff. We had the very decadent vegan chocolate chip cookies and even more decadent vegan hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. They have really cheap vegan Indian food, like Β£3 curry and rice which is just amazing, but sadly didnβt get to try. Next time! I love that they also donate free meals to those who need them. Wonderful atmosphere.

Fantastic vegan cafe. Prices are incredible, ambience/music is lovely, staff are really friendly. The food is fresh, tasty and ultimately awesome. There isn't a great variety of choice, but they know how to cook what m's on the menu. Went multiple times and got the thali first and then the kofta wrap. Undoubtedly this'd be a regular if I lived in Cardiff.

Amazing calm, serene ambience serving delicious vegan food at great value - tasted fresh and very homely. Menu: Was impressed at the choice of lassi and milkshakes (more than any restaurant I've been to, incl non-vegan). Bakery section all looked tasty and it was hard to choose! The thali option looked great but we were only making a short stop. Order: We visited for a quick-ish lunch and ordered the blueberry lassi, strawberry milkshake, 2 kofta wraps and a chocolate tiffin. All for Β£20. Absolutely delicious and would come here every time I visit Cardiff from now! Set-up: The restaurant has tables on one side and sofas on the other, with the desk and mini-shop in the middle, selling food, spices, incense, books, clothes. They played meditation music. A range of wellbeing and spiritual books - we bought a book called 'Hiding in Unnatural Happiness'. Thank you! Highly recommend this place to all!

Soul full and humble vegan food. Being Indian we were craving some home cooked food and I can honestly say this was like eating at home. Everything is just so amazing. The restaurant is very calming when you walk in with a really chilled vibe and lovely background music. They have tables at the front and sofas at the back which adds to the relaxed environment. We went here twice on our 4 day trip to Cardiff. We had the mango lassi, thali and chai. Everything was just brilliant and at such a reasonable price. The staff are also so lovely and make you feel really welcome. A must visit for anyone.
