Fabio scammed us… as soon as we showed up he brought us over TWO ORDERS of prawn crackers. We never asked for them. So of course we thought: wow this is so nice, a free starter before we order. We went ahead and ordered and actual starter too… come to find out at the end once we get our bill. The two prawn crackers he brought us (like 8 crackers each) was 3 pounds each… so he charged us 6 pounds for something he brought us once we at down without us ever asking for it… he left midway through serving us because he shift ended so we weren’t able to bring it up with our new server, because ultimately it wasn’t her fault. Shame on Fabio. Will never return and will tell everyone I know that this place is openly scamming customers… 0 stars

Great wagas, food took a little longer than usual but tasted great. We sat outside in order not to have to wait or be too crampt. My partners dish was a bit shy on protein but overall lovely meal.

We tend to drop by here after a late finish in the office and despite how tired we come across, the staff are always cheerful! Our last visit saw us trying out the build your own donburi (rice bowl) which is a great concept. Yes it's not an authentic donburi but being able to pick what you like is a great option and it's still very tasty (not to mention a fair bit of food for the money). We also tried out the roti raisukare (roti and curry dipping sauce) which was also delicious and allowed me to switch up my donburi with a few spoonfuls of curry sauce. Wagamama has branched out from the dishes it used to serve and I'm all for it. It's not super traditional in it's dishes but the food tastes great nonetheless.

In general, I love Wagamama, the sauces are very tasty, always order the same Hot honey chicken with rice. But the last few times they came to me overcooked, so I decided to take a break from it. Today I finally came back to try again. What’s good is they have very friendly staff, and the manager allowed me to order a exclusive for delivery chicken position to takeaway. It’s the only good thing. This chicken was a piece of stone. On top, there’s a terribly thick layer of sugar, which, as I’m attaching in the video, so thick and horribly hard, impossible to pierce it with a fork, even with force. If you somehow manage to break open this thick sugary crust, 90% of it is that sugar shell, and only 10% is actually chicken. Inside, the chicken is also overcooked and hard. It’s can be barely pulled apart into fibers. I ate a few pieces. Nearly scratched my throat. I was left hungry after all my way to the place. I hope the quality will be better.

I ordered the pork belly ramen. The pork belly and the egg is quite good but the soup is way too salty and the texture of the ramen isn’t great. My frd had katsu curry, the chicken is fine but the curry just doesn’t taste right. It is not the taste of a normal Japanese curry.

The mains tasted delicious but wasn't too sure of my starter, took the 'lollipop prawn kushiyaki' which tasted nothing amazing and was also very overpriced. The place and environment was lovely and would definitely go back again for that. Also very lovely and helpful staff.

Pls go this place for your dinner. It’s lovely and amazing food. I very enjoy it. Good services and nice staff. Very friendly and helpful. Food is amazing and much better than I expected. Drink also good and payment also easy. Place is clean and lot of table. You can sit inside or outside. Height recommended.

The Service and Ambience is the real draw for this venue. I've always liked the large open tables and quick ordering and payment on the App. The food is usually very tasty fusion food at reasonable prices. However its clear that wagamama is suffering from food price hikes as the plated offering is rather sparce nowadays. I had the spicy vegan short rib in an udon broth which was disappointing. The broth was tasty but there were too many udon noodles and not enough veggies. The protein substitute was not to my liking. My friend ordered the yaki udon noodle dish with prawns and chicken. We noticed straightaway that there was only 1 prawn in the dish and mentioned it to a server. In fairness to them, they apologised, offered to cook it again or just provide more prawns, and also offered a free dessert. Three different servers came to check all was well and were very friendly and helpful. The front of house manager was lovely as well. I probably won't go back to wagamamas because I don't like the vegetarian options but for most people, it probably represents good value for money in a nice environment and the food is not too challenging. Recommended.
