   Tried this chinese restaurant last night due to our usual one being closed for holidays. Best decision we've made ! Was ready quickly, and the portions were good. Not at all greasy and all piping hot ! Pancakes rolls were large and packed full , crisp and delicious. We both enjoyed everything and left nothing but the bones of the ribs which were tasty and plentiful. We will most definitely be back

   First time customer. Chow mien was lovely the Chinese chicken curry was very meaty and had a nice kick. We had meat spring rolls egg rice and chicken balls. Was lovely the delivery came quicker than the app said and driver was super friendly we look forward to having a cheeky Chinese again soon.

   After reading the reviews I took a chance on trying this takeaway. Quite honestly it was the right thing. Easy ordering on the phone with a helpful staff member .Delivery around and hour later by a very polite lady driver. Food piping hot and exactly how I hoped it would be. Everything delivered in secure containers and bags. The food was cooked perfect and really tasty. Definatly will be using this takeaway in the future. Thank you.

   Extremely busy being Valentines Day. The phone was non-stop and getting through took multiple attempts. Order booked eventually and was ready within 15 minutes. Food was hot, as ordered and of a reasonable standard expected from anHigh Street Chinese. Well worth a visit if looking for a take away in the area. Certainly my normal go to when it comes to this type of meal.

   Ordered a takeaway at the weekend and the food was lovely and hot was told an hour wait and it was so quick came before the hour was up. Food tasted lovely Service was excellent from talking on the phone to the lady who delivered it. We are so ordering again :) And to top it off got a lovely chinese calander for Xmas.

   The WORST service I have ever received! I ordered my food and was told it will take an hour and half to deliver (which was understandable due to how busy they can get) the food didn’t arrive until 3 and half hours later… so i called oriental taste to confirm where my order is and we have always been so loyal to them. The manager told me I will not be getting my food and the delivery driver will not turn up anymore, I then explained that we have been waiting for a very long time and I just wanted an apology or something!! the manager then got rude and hung up on my face! I was left confused, disappointed and embarrassed to say the least! I will never order from them again and I don’t recommend anyone to order from oriental taste! WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER RECEIVED!

   The food is decent and anytime I visit my in-laws in Peacehaven we get a takeaway from here. However, they never, EVER, charge us the correct amount. (And it's *never* less than I calculated.) Tonight's experience was a particularly awful experience. Called our order in. They even read it back to me. They said 15 minutes. Turned up 15 minutes later. Was told we needed to wait for our food. People came and left. Eventually hubby got fed up and asked what was going on with our order. Turns out it was just sitting behind the counter, going cold. This time we weren't eating at the in-laws but brought it all the way back to Polegate. Got home to find out we were missing five (5!) of our items. So their food is okay, but their ability to function as an efficient business is woeful. Save your (overcharged) money.
