“I love this place, I'm currently vegetarian but if I could cook as well as these lovely ladies then I would become vegan in a heartbeat (giving up cheese is hard!) Always feel welcome and look forward to my breakfast pancakes and seeing lovely little pebbles. Whether you're vegan or not it's a great place to dine and try something different and new!”

“This was a great end to a long walk. Get a ticket, go up and get your roast carvery and the drinks are there ready at the table for when you get back. Decent prices, great location and friendly staff. I recommend.”

“Been out walking and just called in on the off chance as hadn’t booked. Was really busy but they fitted us in without a fuss - thanks. Had the Sunday roast (beef of course) and was not disappointed - it was fabulous! Bella took our order and a young lass with blonde hair served us (Jenni? I think, sorry didn’t get her name). We could see it was busy and the staff were busy but they kept an eye out for everyone. Really pleased we called in & will call in again next time we are in the area. Thank you.”

“Friendly staff, excellent food cooked to order. Fries were arguably the best of any takeaway I’ve ever had. Plenty of sauce and toppings in the burger. This was our first experience of Big Mouth’s having recently moved to the area. Certainly won’t be our last.”

The service was great, as the servers were jolly and friendly one even gave my child a lollipop for free! “In the 20years l have lived here I must say this is the best pub in the UK. Gerry and Lyn have been there a long time but every one gets along with them. We are in our 80,s now, moved to Spain for 10 years but are back in the UK. We wish them continued success kind regards Kay and Gerry.”

“Had a takeaway from here a few nights ago, staff were very friendly and answered all questions with a smile. I had a large cod and chips and the fish was well cooked and the batter was crispy and not at all soggy or greasy, my wife had the cod nuggets, which were large chunks of fresh fish in the same crispy batter. Great fish and chips, I would highly recommend!”

“First time customer. Chow mien was lovely the Chinese chicken curry was very meaty and had a nice kick. We had meat spring rolls egg rice and chicken balls. Was lovely the delivery came quicker than the app said and driver was super friendly we look forward to having a cheeky Chinese again soon.”

“Old peacehaven store review: Nice welcoming atmosphere and great food. Pizza quality is impressive and exceeds expectations. Ordered again August 2025 from their new saltdean store. Pizza retains it's good quality and I prefer firehouse to pizza Go go . The pizza is carefully packed, on a bake proof paper, although there was no grease on my pizza anyway. Very nice chicken tenders, and the man on the phone was very polite. He kindly changed the mushroom for ham on my chicken pizza in the family deal. Very good pizza.”
