The best fish and chip shop in the area. Been using it for over 30 years so it must be good. The proof is in the eating as they say. Lovely family business. Cash only.
A quaint if not dated decor fish and chips shop located on main South Coast Road (A259) there are spaces directly outside approx 4. Otherwise round side streets. Steps on entrance door and exit door. Cash only - speedy efficient service. Inside in need of an update especially menu pricing board. It holds a hygiene rating of 5 and the food taste great. Well established and run by the same family for many years.
My local chippy, been going there for many many years, outstanding fresh fish and chips, expertly cooked by the family that run it. Outstanding haddock and chips tonight - go visit!

Usually amazing... travel in from Brighton as normally brilliant fish and chips... don't know what happened today.... asked for Cod pretty sure it was Haddock and the batter which is usually the best around was almost raw...curry sauce lid wasn't on properly so had spilled out everywhere... signs in shop saying closing for holidays, mayb they are in holiday mood already... sorry but tonight was a total let down...ended up in the bin
Bought some chips, fish cake and a sauceage in batter on Monday 23rd January. Very overcooked and no taste was extremley disappointed as a waste of money. We are all suffering at the moment financially. Called the shop just a 'sorry' no offer of a refund or come in for a new meal. Time to try somewhere else.
