great place, nice food good price but creepy man lets it down at the pizza area, always staring at me and my family in a weird way so it makes us all feel uncomfortable every time we come to the peacehaven stone house…. caught him many times observing us and puts us off coming here.. shame really

A very reliable restaurant. Really excellent if you are into meat and very good if you are vegetarian. Generous on the portions - especially the tatertots with the vegan burger! Staff are very friendly and efficient. Deservedly popular.

Servers were attentive. Food was above average. We ordered off the menu. Wish we could give a better score. But the atmosphere was horrible; Little kids were running around our table screaming. Parents did nothing to control them Restaurant didn't seem to care. If you go I would stay out of the middle section. On the other hand adults in the front section were yelling VERY loudly!!! Then it stopped. Maybe they threw them out. But I was getting very concerned. Oh well....we won't be back again!

Ordered a chicken tikka pizza, sorry to say but was not tasty. They added a lot of spicy sauce but the pizza was not tasty at all. P.s : The sticky pudding was tasty

A visit on mid morning Monday - we came on foot. Free car parking is available- as long as you register your vehicle on entry ( controlled by ANP cameras on entrance.) The venue is on a lower level from car park steps along with a wheelchair ramp allows entrance through twin double manual doors. If you are eating your place your order at main bar and pay. Vouchers cash and contactless payments accepted. There is a separate pizza/burger server. The main buffet serving breakfast (all you can eat) and carvery is located at the far end, self service. The decor is in need of updating- I was informed this will be happening soon (visit mid March 2025) I was using the Octopus electricity members voucher which caused a problem on payment , it was resolved after staff contacted their IT support. Staff are friendly, efficient and informative. Some been there for 17years - says a lot. The venue is mainly for food but customers that just want a drink are welcome to select from a wide choice of beer/ lagers etc. as well as coffee/tea. Download the Stonehouse restaurant app for some savings. Picnic tables at main entrance (for smokers) along with an enclosed grass area with more comfortable picnic tables - the ones you don’t have to lift your leg over(suits me better) will definitely return for a great value breakfast, gaming machines on site. Takeaways also available. Collect or delivered to your door. Use web site to order Justeats- deliveroo - Uber Eats.

Reasonably price carvery the beef was tasty and cooked well the cauliflower was nice the peas were okay and the roast potatoes were good the gravy was acceptable however the carrots were not nice. The place was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Guinness was, as always, Guinness. The service was a little slow. the pub was not busy but had a good turnover of customers that seemed to be satisfied with their service and food.

Eileen was our waitress and she was amazing, I just want to say that off the bat, she couldn’t have been more friendly or attentive if she had tried and that was what was so nice, she was genuinely friendly and hospitable. If my review was solely about her I would be giving 5 stars. The beer selection was ok, we managed to find a really nice pale ale called 61 Deep which was perfect for our evening, but all other ales were off the menu. We got an incredible deal on the burgers as well, it was 2 for 1 night on burgers and pizzas, which is such a great deal, the entire night came to Β£39 for 4 beers each and food, which is great. We left a nice tip as well as Eileen was like I said exemplary. The only other thing that let it down a little and this is me just being critical is that the burger patty’s were a little… cheap. That sounds so snobby I know, but it was a little let down, had they been more home made, pressed from mince and rather than 3 patty’s just one decent juicy patty it would have made it a 5 star review. I can only give me honest opinion and this would be the difference between 4 and 5 stars. I would definitely go here again and enjoyed every other part.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, nice and clean and the service was great. The wait time for food was very short even though it was quite busy in the the evening. Food was nice although I felt the crust on the Calzone could have been a little less burnt, but it tasted nice all the same. All in all a nice place to eat with ample onsight parking. I would recommend for anyone that is on a budget

This was a great end to a long walk. Get a ticket, go up and get your roast carvery and the drinks are there ready at the table for when you get back. Decent prices, great location and friendly staff. I recommend.

A simple roadside pillar in Peacehaven. It bears the crest of the Peacehaven & Telscombe Football Club.
