   I had such a lovely time here. The décor is genuinely charming — cute, chic, and warm in that effortless way that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The food was delicious across the board, but the standout for me was the ‘Samui Prawns’ — fresh, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. Everything felt genuinely worth the money. It’s the kind of place I’d happily come back to again, whether soon or down the line. A really solid spot in Brighton if you’re after tasty Thai food in a pretty setting.

   The flavour of the Thai green curry is a spectacle to say the least, it’s a delicious curry. I absolutely loved the sticky rice as well, it has a mild sweet taste to it which I really liked. The atmosphere was comfy & elegant-like, it was peaceful. There was a waitress there as well who spoke to me and my friend about their summer menu (I believe her name is Dani) she had a nice relaxed down to earth kinda vibe. She told us about their Mango sticky rice that they serve in the summer, needless to say that I’ll definitely be coming back to try it.

   Cozy seating, wonderful presentation and incredibly delicious! Polite staff and great Service. The red prawn curry was packet full of flavors and the chili squid was tender and crispy. The duck confit was also excellent and paired really well with the pack Choi and tender-stem broccoli. I 100% recommend eating here!!

   INSANE quality of food. Got takeaway from here and it was packaged with such care, in a proper bag. The pork was to die for and I couldn’t stop going back for more of the curry. Will most likely come visit in the flesh because of how impressed I am with this place :)

   Popped in on a Sunday evening and was pleasantly surprised to find it fairly busy. It’s a cosy restaurant with lots of little nooks and crannies. The food was decent overall — our starters and dessert definitely outshone the mains. The squid was the best I’ve had in a while. The pad Thai was a bit of a letdown, with more bean sprouts than noodles and not much flavour. Thankfully, the drunken noodles made up for it. Good value for money, and I’d go back to try a different main.

   Giggling Squid has really good Thai food when you are craving for Asian dishes in Brighton. It’s a chain restaurant but predominantly based outside of London. I had my doubts about it but came out impressed and the food was tasty. We had the Chang Mai starter sharing plate for 2, which was really good. Definitely get the giggling squid if you’re hungry. The Royal Fishing Boat Curry comes highly recommended if you are a seafood lover. I liked it and was full of flavor, perfect with rice on a cold day.

   Met up with some friends today for lunch and I have to say the service was great. Fast and efficient especially during a busy lunchtime period. The food here is delicious and I'm not a squid fan but my friend said to try it and damn it was so good. The curry packed so much flavour. This branch only had Halal chicken apart from their chicken wings which isn't.

   We went to the Giggling Squid today Great tasty food. The crispy squid was a little greasy and more octopus than squid however the platter of starters was quite reasonable. Great satay chicken replaced the pork due to our allergies. There were delays and the place was packed on a Wednesday !! Hannah was our waitress. She was attentive. Rushed off her feet but always with a smile. How lucky are they to have such great staff

   Went to the Brighton Giggling Squid for the first time, in a group of five on a Wednesday evening (booked a week in advance). It looks like a converted house. Two steep steps up to the entrance door, then sharp right to first dining area or straight ahead up and flights of stairs to other dining areas here and there. Toilets are right at the top of the building, in what looks like a loft conversion (low ceilings at 45 degrees). We had an upstairs table in a small side room containing tables for four, four, two and six (us). Wait staff were frequently to be seen and although it was busy (BOOK!) there was little hanging around. We ordered starters and mains in one go as we were very hungry, and eight drinks. Cocktails served quickly, all good. Food was presented in lidded fry pans and stoneware bowls, which you ate from with knived and forks. Everything was nice, one starter, one main and a rice or noodle dish was about about right size for one hungry adult. They add a 10% service charge to the bill without asking, but waiter said that is shared equally between the staff so I left it at that and no tip on top, £184.03 total. NB. Evening parking at The Lanes is just £5 from 6pm to midnight and we used it. It is an excellent facility just found the corner from the restaurant.
