Nice varied menu, food arrived quickly and hot, looked fresh, tasted great. Good portion sizes. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Have previously had takeaway years ago, menu has changed since then and prices seem quite reasonable considering the amount we ordered. Will hopefully return again soon!

Visited last month on my birthday for lunch. Service was extremely slow and sadly tables who were sat after us were getting their food quicker than us. We ordered dimsums, cheugfun and other small plates. One of my friend had to wait 45 minutes for a fried rice. While we were about to finish he was starting to eat. We asked for water for the table which took us there attempts to even get their attention and 20 minutes to arrive. Norwich barely have any authentic Chinese restaurants and baby Buddha is one of them. I would love to visit again as food was really good but with the service it's a massive letdown.

I visited this restaurant a while back and it was pretty good all round. We started with the dim sum platter which had a nice variety (just wished there was a little more). Our mains were solid and very tasty. My plate was piled high with noodles - certainly no complaints there! We went for the custard bao for dessert (hadn't tried this before), these were also delicious. While the prices were on the higher side, the food was great and the staff were attentive and friendly, would definitely recommend.

A Dim Sum Delight The experience starts right when you walk in with a warm welcome from the staff, and the unique Chinese decor is truly beautiful. I went to the Baby Buddha Chinese Teahouse on Ber Street recently and was excited to see they've changed their menu to focus on just dim sum. It's a fantastic decision, and it really shows in the quality of the food. I tried a few classic dishes: the sui mai, cheung fun, chicken feet (Egg custard is only available on Sunday) and dumpling etc. Every single one was full of flavor and tasted incredibly authentic. The food was so much more than just delicious; it was interesting and a true treat for the taste buds. They also have great tote bags for just £8.50! I'll definitely be going back to try more of their menu. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic, flavorful dim sum in Norwich.

Great staff, food was delicious. Be aware of service charge/ tip added to your receipt. It's optional but it looks like it's not. (We did tip but we like to have a choice ha!) Good service. Chilli beef was amazing!

Food was so dry. I couldn’t eat this. I ordered roasted duck with egg fried rice and rice with prawns. I had paid 34 pounds for 2kg of dried rice and couple bits of meat, and prawns. That is so bad. Never again.

Great for a meal with friends but not a date. We had egg fried noodles, sweet and sour chicken and the fried platter - service was quick, food was nice but the quality of food was inconsistent. Tried the Sun-lin beer which was great!

Hard to give a review after getting a cold but the takeaway was to the side. Had a pint while I waited. I had beef with flat rice noodles, which was good and the beef was nice and tender. Lost my sense of taste so hard to tell how the food tastes. But overall it was good. About 20mins wait but had a pint. Staff nice.

Came for dinner at 5.30pm on 15.12.2021 - not busy at all, only a few tables occupied. Walked in without a booking. Haven't been here for a few years, menu has been drastically shortened to basic dishes. Boiled rice was £3.75. Toilets are near the entrance/bar. Free WiFi. Metered parking outside the restaurant or opposite, 80p for 15 mins then 30p after. There is a lunch deal but I didn't take much notice of the offer. Would come again as it was tasty.
