Amazing dining experience food freshly prepared and cooked. Very well presented.by friendly helpful staff. Food ever so tasty and delicious. Not the cheapest but if you want good food as they say you get what you pay for. Looking forward to returning
Giggling sqid is my new favourite vegan restaurant. Fantastic service. Vegan red wine. Incredibly tasty food. I wanted to try very vegan thing on the menu. Nearly everything can be done vegan. Chrispy chilli chickpeas and salt and pepper mushrooms I am still dreaming about. Highly recommend.
Had a lovely dinner experience at this restaurant, it's located in the beautiful, historical part of Bury at Edmunds just across from the famous abbey gardens. The decor of the restaurant is very pleasing, draped in pastel flowers with tables and intimate booths alike to choose from. The staff were lovely, accommodating and extremely attentive to our needs, they were able to advise us on the menu and the drinks and explain everything extremly well. Food was very good, we had Seafood Pad Thai, Sticky Chicken and Duck Spring Rolls which were scrumptious accompanied by some lovely alcohol free cocktails. It was a great experience with tasty food and great service. Looking forward to going back.
There was a slight delay in the drinks order and the prawn crackers, which were rectified. Service could have been more if not for this. We had 3 separate staff serve the table and some better than others. Food, on the other hand, was superb! Hot, delicious, plenty of choice on the menu, and everything was on point. A definite place to visit and I'm sure we shall visit again.
Four of us went there tonight 12/01/23 for mothers birthday. The service from Jack was great, food was superb and prices were good. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Already planning when to go back again.
Every time we visit Giggling Squid for lunch or dinner , always feel good afterwards and very satisfied! And next bring more friends along, we also visit Giggling Squid in other places:) Very highly recommend to everyone! Delicious foods, lots off choices for the drinks, great atmosphere, and very friendly, helpful, professional staff! Amazing Thai food, I'm a big fan of giggling squid, having visited the Cambridge and Reading branches too. Took my partner here for his birthday and they helped bring out the birthday cake and made it a very special day for us. Accommodating staff and great ambience!
First time visiting this restaurant after seeing it everywhere. The interior design and atmosphere is so lovely and welcoming. Members of staff were quick to take us to our table and there’s such a big menu with a huge variety to choose from. It took us a while to decide what we wanted! Thank you for having us, we will definitely go to a Giggling Squid branch again.
I didn't take any photos of my food because I was too keen to eat it, what a wonderful place to dine out! Food was delivered promptly and presentation was on point. A whole separate menu for vegans and the website gives you an allergen filter which you can select which foods you wish to avoid so that you can order with ease. If every restaurants service matched this I'd be thrilled! Our waitress was very helpful and polite, even though it was very busy and noisy for a Wednesday evening.
