This pub no longer serves Thai food! I'm letting you know as the owners can't be bothered to update website! Infact no food! The owner is true to his reviews. A that After travelling some way to get there I am furious .Won't be going to his restaurant either. Shame on him
Posters in the car park boldly claim food, including steak is available. It's not. But you get a card to try their restaurant 4 minutes drive down the road. Avoid.
This has to be a rather odd review because I didn't end up eating or drinking anything on my lunchtime visit the other day. Lost, I thought to pop in for a coffee and a snack and hopefully get directions to where I wanted to be. The tables were vacant of diners - but several groups of 'chaps' were have a jolly time drinking. The barman/owner(?) could not offer anything light to eat and he had no idea where I wanted to be. But he introduced me to a group of local jolly drinkers who were very helpful - indeed one stood up and made absolutely sure I knew the way to the village hall area. Thanks boys!
Village restaurant adjacent to Elmswell Rail Station. Serves home cooked Thai dishes. The food is very reasonably priced and of high quality. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Service was quick. Spiciness of food gave the dishes excellent flavour without being too hot. Recommended. Will be returning.
We are staying at Badwell Ash holiday lodges over Christmas and noticed this pub whilst out walking yesterday, so decided to try their Thai food tonight. What a fantastic meal! The set starter for two was delicious and not scrimpy like some restaurants! My red curry was the best I've had and the coconut rice was scrumptious. I wish this restaurant was in my home town in Notts. My husband and me didn't stop talking about it all the way back to the lodge! The waitress service was also first class.
