I have dinner in this highly rated place on google and I must say it depends on items . Service is below average , the service people ignored us when we first arrive and the new item1 wantan char siew noodles is terrible ! I came from Asia and I know how it taste like - noodles are soggy and Cha siew is like red-coloured non marinated pork without cha siew taste , and as you can see I didnβt manage to finish the noodles - disappointing ! And itβs not cheap at all ! Not worth the visit !

Amazing Thai experience! I had the Tom Yum soup and it was absolutely delicious β full of flavor, perfectly spicy, and so refreshing. The whole place has such a wonderful atmosphere, with a cozy and beautifully designed interior that really makes you feel like youβre in Thailand. Great food, great vibes β Iβll definitely be coming back!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Thaikhun in Bath. I have been here a few times now over my time at university and every time Iβve been Iβve had a great experience. What strikes you immediately is the authentic feel, you literally feel like youβre walking into a piece of Thailand. The layout imitates the hustle and bustle of the streets and food stalls of Bangkok with bright and colourful Thai advertisements, street signs, Buddhist shrines and much more. The service was second to none. My server Oat, originating from Bangkok, immediately brought the famous Thai hospitality that I experienced on my travels to life. He was attentive, friendly and a genuinely lovely guy to have a chat with. I ordered the Thai BBQ chicken wings, the stir fry pork belly with egg fried rice. The food was authentic, tasty, well-balanced and the right level of spice. It really took me back to the delicious flavours, spices, seasonings and aromas I experienced when I visited Thailand. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves Thai food or wants to try Thai food for the first time!

I have very mixed feelings about this place. Upon reading other reviews, I do think the staff is racist towards Asian. Their attitude was cold, judgmental and hostile. We asked to be seated in one of the booths on the left side, which was denied, saying that the area was βclosedβ. We were then seated on an uneven table, which made it difficult to keep food on. We changed tables & were given very nasty glares & staff were whispering to each other in front of us. It was very obvious and frankly appalling behavior. Itβs a shame because the authentic, street style dΓ©cor of the restaurant is really lovely and the we liked the food. Its not the best Thai food we have ever had but it was decent. The staff also refused to replace any of the pork with alternatives in their shared starter platters. When our food came, they asked us THREE times to remove one of the plates while there was food in it. We felt very rushed even though the restaurant was basically empty. My friend wanted to get the unlimited rice cracker. When we ordered, they tried to get us to order 2 portions and when we refused, the told me I could not eat any of the rice cracker. Yes!! I know!! I didnβt order them because I. Didnβt. Want. To. Eat. Them!! The sharing platter also had a sneaky price increase as it actually costs Β£20+ for two people instead of the stated Β£11 price. This increase was written in small fine print on the menu. Very money grabby! I would NOT recommend this place due to the staffs behavior. Please go somewhere else as the food is only decent.

I recently dined at Thaikhun restaurant and I have to say, the interior was quite interesting and unique. The atmosphere was lively and inviting. However, the food was lacking in flavor and I found that a lot of options were missing from the menu. On the other hand, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Despite the food not meeting my expectations, I would still recommend this restaurant for its excellent service and interesting interior.

We went to bath for Spa few weeks ago and found this Thai restaurant on the high street. As soon as we saw we just love the decorations. It has that authentic street food feeling. The food was delicious and spicy. We ordered both starters and main course. Highly recommended!!!

Not so impressed. Restaurant smelt so bad we had to move. Food was bland, all round. The rice was horrendous in all dishes. The only thing that was actually tasty was the red curry. I found the quality of ingredients, the flavours, the whole ambience was lacking any excitement. Worst Pad Thai Iβve probably ever had too, which is saying something considering itβs a simple dish. Papaya salad had absolutely no spice. 3*s for the lovely staff and the red curry and the pancakes for dessert!

Cool place to go! Staff are very friendly, they do 20% Blue Light Discount which is always a bonus for me with the current circumstances, food was nice, they were more than accommodating for our 5 month old baby, and prices were reasonable. The only reason I never gave a 5 was because lack of flavour in both dishes but that is probably just due to personal taste, not the cooking. Thanks!

The interior of this Thai chain strikes you immediately. It is like a film set with its many well thought out pieces of ephemera from Thailand scattered around the restaurant. We began with the very reasonably priced cocktails which were well presented and packed a punch. There is an extensive choice for vegans and vegetarians. The vegan mixed starter was pricey for the amount we got but all the elements were good especially the corn fritters. For main I had the tofu with veg and cashews. It was a good portion and came in a very tasty sauce. For the price though I feel it should have come with rice/noodles; the noodles I had were an extra Β£4.50 which I think is a bit ott. Overall a solid meal in a great environment.
