Great experience. Lovely welcoming staff and fab choice of quiet seating for 2 for our birthday meal. Amazing food selections of Bento Boxes and Ramen Noodles. The value was incredible for a first timer using the Groupon voucher. My lady was smittened with the cute birthday mochi. Thank you so much!

Really nice place to eat. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Clean tidy restaurant. Food and cocktails were amazing. We used a redletter day experience which is a set menu and a really nice way to experience Japanese food for the first time. ( See the celebration menu photo ) Would 100% return.

I chose this restaurant specifically because it was featured in the Michelin Guide as a recommended place in Bath, and I wanted to make the evening special for my sister’s birthday. Unfortunately, the entire experience was deeply disappointing. From the very beginning, the staff were unhelpful and inattentive. There was no warmth or effort to make the night feel even remotely welcoming or enjoyable. The food itself was the main issue. The raw tuna we ordered was clearly not fresh and appeared to be out of date — please refer to the attached photo. It had an unpleasant smell and taste, and should never have been served. Additionally, the wagyu dish came out overcooked and tough, which completely defeated the point of ordering premium meat. Most importantly, I became unwell shortly after the meal, and I spent the rest of the night sick. This completely ruined what was meant to be a special celebration. For a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide, this was shocking. I would strongly advise others to reconsider dining here until the quality, freshness of ingredients, and staff training are seriously addressed. I would not return.

We’ve eaten here in the evening and at lunch for the bento boxes. Both times were lovely - the restaurant is spotless, the staff are lovely, and a lovely, calm atmosphere. The food is absolutely beautiful, but I could happily eat an entire vat of the Japanese pickled vegetables. The drinks also looked lovely, both times we were unable to have anything alcoholic but the apricot sour and pear drink were divine. Would absolutely recommend

It was very good there wasn't a bad dish My favourite was the zp spritz mocktail. I'm a 10 year old and leaving this review. Crispy chicken was great and every dish was unbelievable.

Beautiful setting, lots of variety on the menu, delicious food served beautifully. Most of the staff are flawless with just the right engagement. Personally, I think it is all just a little overpriced. Cocktails were on average £3 more than the Botanist! One small note is we arrived a little early, the doors were wide open so we entered. A gentleman told us they were closed in a rather direct manner giving a terrible first impression. Two of us work is hospitality and were fairly shocked. You would normally be seated with a menu and informed that you couldn't place an order until midday; have drinks but no food or 3rd politely asked if you could wait outside for 10 minutes. If you are not open, the door should be shut. However, we all loved our lunch, had a delicious meal and could not fault the food or the service the second time around. For special occasions definitely worth a visit.

Had a fantastic evening! Hadn’t planned to come to the restaurant, however the place we did go was no good so at last minute switched restaurants and luckily enough Robun could fit us in! Cocktails were extremely strong but all sounded delicious, food was faultless, food came out on perfectly timed intervals, we shared everything and loved everything, couldn’t stop staring at all the dishes being brought out! Everything looked insane! Staff were lovely and kind, shout out to Georgie who was our fantastic waitress, she was great, nothing was too much trouble, she really made our experience perfect! Obviously this restaurant is on the more expensive side but the food was so great, and the staff really made it a enjoyable experience! Can’t wait to come back to bath just to come back to this restaurant!

The food was amazing. I can't fault them for the freshness of that. Although pricey I can understand why if the fish was fresh and the sushi chefs trained properly. It was so wonderfully decorated and just so nice to see something like that open for the first time in ages. I spend 115£ for 6- 7 dishes and 4 drinks... And we were two people. I was still hungry after it. Though
