“What a great experience! My husband and I decided to eat lunch here and it was so delicious, the food, atmosphere and shop layout gave us an authentic dining experience. The food was made to perfection, nice a healthy and hearty. We enjoyed it so much that we were so close to having it again that day for dinner!”

“Pretty decent food for a good price, I had a milkshake and burger. The chips were fantastic and so was the milkshake! The burger was decent too. The main takeaway from eating here was the atmosphere was really quite nice in my opinion. It was busy and the decor was awesome! The service was decent but the kitchen is quite small so food did take some time to come out. But if your not in a rush its worth a visit.”

“We went during the Xmas markets and a rugby game. Everywhere was packed and it was no exception here. The staff were still brilliant, attentive, correct with the order's, didn't forget to bring extra drinks etc. The food was still delicious and well cooked. The chef was working flat out full speed the whole time we were there and so were the servers. Really surprised and impressed with the service.”

“We had dinner here on Thursday evening after being rejected by the Vietnamese Noya on the same street as we hadn’t booked. It was a very busy night in Bath due to the graduation day the next day I believe. Hondu Sushi’s menu was quite extensive to include Malaysian as well. Didn’t get to try. We ordered Salmon Belly rice, Seafood stir fried noodles, Sashimi Bento, Unagi roll and cheese and crab roll. All were delicious apart from the last item. Of course something like Kraft cheese was used but the most disappointing thing was the use or crab stick. It should be called a cheese and crabstick roll to be specific because that was what I was expecting. And it was cheap. All in all service was good and food was good. Only a bit of misdescription. Service charge like many places now, is included in your final bill. Food - good Service - good Atmosphere - it’s ok- busy but not too tight. No music and not too noisy”

“Popped in for a bite after work to try and escape all the crazy traffic. Staff were great and not in your face. Food was really good - I do love tater tots! The pizzas were very good indeed. Nice thin and crispy base - and they were huge!! Lovely quick bite, pop in if you're in Bath.”

“Came in here for lunch. The service was good and very quick. We ordered the bacon and cheese burger with fries. I didn't enjoy the sauce which came with the burger, the rest of the burger was delicious. It was a fair size and a really good price. The bacon and cheese burger was only £12.”

“I have NEVER EVER been disappointed with the quality of sushi and other items from them. Rice is perfectly cooked (not hard like from other sushi places) and the variety and quality outstanding. Well done!”

“OMG. The best meal and the best experience ever for an amazing meal. The chef, Gordon Jones, is open, fun and super talented. The courses are ever changing and a surprise when you show up. Only after the meal is complete so you get a copy of the menu. It’s expensive but worth it.”

“We had accidentally booked for the wrong day and they were very accommodating considering our mistake............I will say, it was Absolutely stunning. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. It wasn't cheap but then we didn't expect it to be considering how beautiful the food was. “Would definitely recommend this place for meals if you are visiting Bath. They serve very nicely cooked meals and have a nicely decorated environment for you to enjoy your meal. Must try their signature 3x handplyed scallop, with the green sauce and lemon, fresh and nicely cooked. They offer lunch set which we can have refillable yorkshire tea with a main course. Their cod fillet is fresh and juicy, with the green paste and sauce together, just perfect. Salmon fishcake is another recommended dish if you like salmon. Different texture but still nicely cooked. Overall portion is big together with the potato. It’s a gem in Bath. We were seated on the open terrace, which can directly feel the chill in the air and direct sunlight. Mint chocolates come with the bill box is just nice as well. The waiter and waitress were very responsive and friendly from seating until leaving. Pet friendly restaurant”

“Chanced upon this place tonight, wasn't very busy but the menu looked very tasty. So pleased we went in. Superb food, just that bit different. Lovely fresh tasting rose. “Had an amazing lunch here today. After smelling delicious food half way down the road I decided to stop in and give it a try. The food was amazing and worth every penny. The waiters display passion and dedication which I really appreciated. Sitting near the bar and watching the bartender carefully make and serve drinks was a delight. “We only came here because the restaurants we wanted to go to were closed, and thank god they were. The garlic bread with cheese was really good, the pepperoni and the cheese from the pepperoni pizza was absolutely delicious, and the fries we got were one of the best fries I’ve tasted this year, I finished it in a few minutes. The waiters were also really friendly and nice, only criticism I have is the 4 person table we sat on was kind of small, forcing me to be a bit separated from the table. Either way, the interior was also really beautiful, especially the paintings.”
