“I've been eating from Edo sushi for about ten years now and have never had one complaint about the food or service. I have plenty of compliments for them though, it's some of the best sushi I've had, good value for the quality and after ten years, has proved reliable. I actively avoid getting sushi anywhere else unless forced to!”

“I’ve been a regular at Rudy’s for the past two years and it’s definitely one of my favourite spots in Sheffield as a student. So when I brought my family here after graduation - It was such a pleasant experience as per usual and it was so endearing to see that the service and quality of food has remained consistent as it has been since my first visit! Our server Kim was really nice, she offered me free prosecco for graduating and also an extra dessert on the house even though we already ordered two! The pizzas came out really quickly and the servers were very attentive IE Asking us how we wanted the pizzas to be served, constantly refilling our water jugs. I’ll miss Rudy’s greatly as I graduate and move away from Sheffield as I had so many pleasant memories here especially for its price range, and I hope everyone else will get to experience it too!”

“I first had food from them as a takeaway for my birthday when I heard that the restaurant was becoming halal. I was pleased with how delicious and authentic the food was! Recently, I returned back to the restaurant in-person and tried many of their dishes. As expected, the food was top tier, served in an eye catching manner! The atmosphere is ambient as well as the customer service is excellent! I would highly recommend going to this Japanese restaurant especially if you’re looking for authentic (halal) Japanese food in Sheffield! Truly enjoy the food!”

“Probably the best East-Asian food I've eaten at a restaurant. Excellent service and the food came promptly. The chef and owner explained different points on the menu in a very clear manner and gave great recommendations. The food itself was brilliant, the best part was that everything is halal since they don't use any pork and only use halal meat. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. We were actually the only ones there at the time. I personally was a big fan of all the paintings hung up on the walls. The owner even explained the cultural significance behind some of them and what they meant. Overall a 10/10 experience. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going there and I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.”

Very good service and delicious food; between us we tried several seafood pasta dishes, and a Caprese starter (which oddly had rocket instead of Basil, but was still very tasty). Good value wines and friendly and relaxed service.”

“First of all, my visit to Wagamama was absolutely perfect, greeted by a lovely young lady named Alex, she spent time with me explaining what meal would suit my diet. She sat me down at a beautiful table right in the middle, which was again perfect. I was then introduced to another lovely young lady named Hayley who was amazing from start to finish. I had to nip outside and was worried, she might not think I was going to come back. She assured me everything would be fine. I returned at the absolute perfect time to be greeted with this big plate of food and a delicious cold drink. The girls, checked up on how my meal was, I told them both it was absolutely gorgeous.... Thank you both so much, if I'm ever back in Sheffield, I will 100% return to your restaurant. Thanks once again Alex & Hayley for making me feel so welcome.”

“Went here tonight (Saturday) it was busy but we had booked and was greeted with a warm welcome and seated straightaway. The food was absolutely fantastic, we had the 3 courses for £30 which was amazing value for money. The service was amazing. Will definitely be returning.”

“Went to Konjö for their lunch menu. It is where jöro used to be which is well situated for parking. It isn't at Cutlery Works anymore. The lunch menu and Kombos are really great value for money. We each had the kombo 1 with fried chicken bao, Korean fried chicken, and a side. Sides we got were the fermented s&p potatoes and the duck hoisin hashbrown. We also tried the beef short rib croquette and the prawn crackers from the a la carte menu. The fried chicken bao, the korean fried chicken, and the short rib croquette were especially fantastic. Love the ranch and chilli crisp on the bao, the bao itself is homemade and so fresh which makes it super pillowy. It's really nice to try a place like this and I think it's important to understand that this is a bit experimental. When we gave feedback to the restaurant and kitchen on what we loved and what they could consider, it was a really lovely discussion. They made it really clear that they were looking for feedback and how they can make alterations and develop dishes. Like I said, it is a little experimental so it was really great to have that open dialogue. Would 100% recommend coming and, if you do, have a look at the independent bookseller nearby!”

“We had a lovely dinner at Bella Italia with another couple and couldn’t have been more impressed. The food was excellent fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal, from the starters through to dessert. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and spotlessly clean, making it a really pleasant place to spend the evening. What truly stood out, though, was the staff friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout. They made sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. “I shop here all the time, staff is super friendly and prices are great. The ramen here is the best I’ve had in the uk so far, broth is perfect and generous toppings. The sushi quality is top notch and so affordable compared to most other places. I reccomended coming in earlier to get the pick of sushi as they only have full choice for so long. 10/10!”

“my partner and i had a one off free few hours from the child, and we had completed a big job throughout the day so we wanted to enjoy our tea and have something different. the food was beaut, the timings were spot on, the service was great, all the girls and guys working there were friendly and smiley and looked like they enjoyed their job. i believe someone beside us must have been a little tipsy and had been sick. The man who looked like the duty manager on shift dealt with this perfectly and discreetly, hats off to them, brilliant example. well done team, we will visit again, the attentiveness of our server was Shanika, such a smiley young lass, very good at her job”

“Shout out to Amy C. She always makes our experience at zizzi very pleasant and comfortable. She keeps checking if we need anything, and she's fast. When I'm coming into the restaurant I scan the place looking for her hoping she's there coz she's very welcoming and treats everyone equally. I'm saying that because I have a bad experience with another old lady at this restaurant, and when I see her I leave immediately because she is discriminating and I had a few bad experiences with her. Apart from that, your food is amazing and we tried many places but we always regret cheating on zizzi. My favourite is pinoli pizza and fonduta. Your desserts are also brilliant. Best of luck.”

“What a stunning place this is. The decor is tasteful, subtly lit, but not too dark. The staff were attentive and not in your face at all (very much appreciated). Our large group ordered a variety of things from the menu, but we all received our food at the same time. I ordered the red Thai curry, which was unbelievably nice. “The food was absolutely amazing. I can’t fault it, the food came out fast. Brilliant service from Manny, and the atmosphere was perfect. Manny checked on us and even talked through menu. Tried as much as we could between two people. My only complaint is I wish I could have more in one sitting! The prices were very very reasonable, the portion sizes huge. And the chicken is halal, which is always a bonus. Can’t believe I’ve overlooked this place while being in Sheffield for almost 20 years. Brilliant food and will be coming back without a doubt.”
