Thoroughly disappointing experience after years of being a loyal customer. Friday night with no music, no atmosphere and no food on the belt. The same 4 plates of edamame circulated for the whole 2 hours we were in there. The one server seemed totally overwhelmed by simple drinks orders. It took 20 minutes to get 3 glasses of wine and a bottle of juice. Food took almost an hour to come out and was mixed quality. There was no tuna available. By the time the last dishes came out the rice in sushi rolls was warm. It seems priority was given to Just Eat orders over people who were actually in the restaurant. Our bill was discounted but it’s so sad to see somewhere that was so good having now become so poor.

Was recommended this place by a local friend, and wish I could've spent more time here. Portion sizes felt generous compared to the small handful of sushi places I've visited back in Belgium or the netherlands, and the staff all seemed to enjoy their work in the openly-visible kitchen. If the owner reads this, could you have the waitress you had working on saturday sep. 20th reach out? I'd like to thank her for her recommendations & effort!

Terrible food — I didn’t even want to take photos. This can’t be called Japanese cuisine. The soy sauce udon was literally noodles soaked in soy sauce — the broth was completely inedible. The beef bowl tasted like overly salty dried meat, drowned in salty soup poured over rice. As shown in the photo, the ramen was the only thing somewhat edible — not because it was good, but because if you can tolerate mushy noodles, at least the broth wasn’t unbearably salty.

Amazing place in Sheffield to eat Japanese food. The service was extraordinary, very kind , professional, fast and attentive. The food was out of this world, fresh, beautifully played and very tasty; delicious. The prices are friendly. The menu is super cute, and customers made to the restaurant with creative titles and beautiful colors. The establishment was clean, cute and comfortable. The restaurant even has a sushi band, which made my day and experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to dine in, and enjoy the fabulous service and food! Great Japanese restaurant.

Specifically called up to order without onions as I have an allergy, arrived with enough onions to kill me. Was VERY glad I wasn’t stupid enough to eat them and onions you can see clearly in the dish. If it was a more serious allergy or a food you can’t see as well I definitely would have died if I’d eaten it. When I called up I was very rudely shouted at. Was sent a replacement but didn’t trust them enough by that point to eat it so ended up with nothing. Husband said what he had was poor quality/didn’t taste good so I’d go elsewhere if your thinking of eating here, save your money.

We had dinner here on Friday night, it was quite quiet. We ordered from the menu and also grabbed some sushi from the conveyor belt. You can ask the chef to make you something that hasn't gone on the conveyor belt. We really enjoyed our meal. The salmon was really fresh, it was like butter! Delicious! We also had mochi with ice cream for dessert! You have to try it! The best mochi I've ever had! Will be back again!

Good and fresh sushi, friendly staff, nice cocktails (virgin and alcoholic). Good atmosphere, I would recommend this place. Hint: have a delicious dessert at the neighbours!

Perfectly satisfactory sushi. The rolls are very small compared to normal sushi roll sizes and there is a lot of rice in the nigiri and rolls. The salmon avocado roll was great, and loved the seaweed salad! Overall, would come back if opportunity was there but not the most special.
