Excellent service! Very attentive servers who were knowledgable and helpful. Food quality was good - starters and mains the best. Puddings - slightly disappointed with choice and lack of Creme brΓ»lΓ©e. Overall really good experience.

We had a great and relaxing time in that restaurant. Loved the food. Different and tasty. Really nice wine list.

Wow! What an experience we had at Raphael’s! Food, service and atmosphere all impeccable. Service was wonderful, super friendly waitresses. We never had to ask for any drinks either, they would ask before we could. Highly recommend to anyone fancying some Michelin star standard food. If they don’t have a star, they should!

An incredible dining experience. Raphael’s is certainly one of the best restaurnants I have been to in Bath. The atmosphere is homey, surrounded by their impressive stock of wine bottles. Service was excellent throughout. To start I had the French Onion Soup. It was unique in that it wasn’t brown/ sticky with pieces of well cooked onion (traditional French onion soup) but more of a white emulsion of onion. This ended up making the dish refreshingly light. Perfect for a starter. I do take issue with the limited amount of stuffed cheese β€œbreadballs?”. This was meant to be the source of the cheese flavour, but because there was little of it, the dish lacked the saltiness it needs during some slurps. Duck three ways for main course. It was first class. Duck hash brown, duck croquette and duck breast. My favourite part was the duck breast with the parsnip purΓ©e. The sweetness of the Millard combined with the earthiness of the parsnips tasted magical. The gravy was rich and complimented the flesh with its herbs and salt profile. Ordered a side of mash, which was beautifully whipped and tasted perfect. The only other circumstance is that despite it being a wine bar, I would have expected more than one cider choice.

Amazing food! I had the scallops, then duck, and then the chocolate ganache to finish - all dishes were very delicious and cooked well. The cheese board also has a great selection of cheeses, and they give you a mountain of crackers. The staff were also lovely and attentive. Will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone!

Decent experience but a bit pricey. Chicken, scotch egg, and burger were all okay. The duck breast could have been much better though; it was a bit tough. Each dish had pretty cool plating and plenty of inviting flavors. The setting was really nice. Dim but elegant. Excellent service. Not sure it’s worth the Β£30+ per person (without drinks).

Fantastic dinner, booked few days before the date of visit, once we arrived in Bath went to see if our reservation could me moved and they accommodated us immediately! Very nice menu, I went for beef fillet and my partner opted for cod- both were really tasty, instead of desert we had a lovely local cheese board with home made crackers and home made chutney!!! Superb service very helpful staff! They have special wines so look for those bottles on your table as these are not part of the a la carte menu! Would love to go back for a meal when I come again to Bath!

One of the best Sunday roasts you'll have, super recommend this place. We had the beef and the pork and they were both great, service and was and attentive, dessert was also really good and a nice ending to a great lunch. They got a very wide selection of wines also worth mentioning.

Do not hesitate in booking a table and having a meal here... choose any dish and you will not be disappointed. The service is impeccable, sincere and attentive. I actually feel bad for not giving more than the 10% tip on the bill. Ambience is cosy and intimate, with really nice warm lighting and well positioned tables.

The food was amazing and the service superb. If you are looking for a fine dining in Bath, Raphael is definitely the place. The herbed butter was insanely good and the bread came fresh out of the oven. The classic steak and truffle risotto were very tasty too.
