   It's our go to restaurant for steak even though we're not local to it it's worth the trip. Always melt in the mouth steak. Puddings are good too, have had the Creme brûlée and the rice pudding. Big portions and good flavours.

   For a nice dinner in Bath, this restaurant was on point! We ordered two Legendary platters and they were absolutely perfect. Steaks are dry aged and were cooked to perfection. Side and sauces were plentiful and delicious. For the most delectable steak in Bath, check out the Herd!

   I'm so glad I found this restaurant! I wanted to find somewhere nice to eat the celebrate getting engaged to my now fiancé and going off the reviews I decided on The Herd. It has a small dining area so it feels quite personal and the atmosphere was great. The service and food were second to none, I can quite happily say this was the best steak I've eaten for many years! Karl was a very attentive host and made us feel very welcome. If I ever visit Bath again I will 100% be reserving a table! You definitely need to bottle and sell the Red Wine Sauce too, it was incredible!!

   Love this place. Though it was quite hard to access. The steak was good. The fries were good. The sauces were good. And the service is just perfect. Shout out to Karl! Nice small place. Would recommend.

   We were very kindly squeezed in for a steak. Staff were super freindly, felt very welcome! Service was great and the steaks were excellent. Sides were a little heavy on the salt for my taste but still very enjoyable. Will be back for a more thorough, longer visit soon!

   I almost couldn't find this place if not for google map. The entrance is a bit obscure but it is definitely worth a bit of patience to find this gem. A small cosy restaurant that is hidden from the main busy street. Kinda feels like going into a bomb shelter or dungeon with the narrow stairs and corridors leading to the restaurant. Inside, the warm lightings were welcoming and easy on the eye. Food wise, the steak was done perfectly. Love the creamy spinach too as a side. Fries serving was generous too. Good for a meal while having a day trip at Bath.
