Stumbled across this place on a cold walk and left with a warm heart. What a truly unexpected and delightful find. Referring to this place as just a 'cafe' is an absolute disservice—it’s an experience in itself. With impeccable and warm hospitality and a charming and quirky interior, it’s a place that makes you want to linger. It boasts a great range of unique and interesting dishes and caters for vegetarians really well too. I’m already planning my next visit for the Friday night supper club!

Can't believe I'd never heard of this cafe/restaurant, located just inside Wellow Stables there are indoor and outdoor tables, staff are super friendly and dogs are welcome. Had breakfast here which was good value for money. Lots of bike riders/walkers stopping by. Can't wait to visit again.

I found this place by chance on a ride and it is absolutely delightful. Only a small cafe but absolutely perfect for anyone who's near. A safe space for cyclists with some delightful food made by the Italian chef. The riders rest is a family cafe and has a wonderful atmosphere where the owners are very friendly and chatty. If I happen to be headed this direction again then I'll certainly be popping in

The porchetta sandwhich is to die for, they have different options for fillings etc but even just with the meat it’s so flavourful. They have a variety of italian desserts and lovely coffee too. Michelle and Mimmo are truly fantastic, they make you feel welcome and look after you.

Lovely rural cafe with spectacular countryside views. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly and welcoming by the Italian proprietors. Lovely cakes and savouries. Cappuccino only average. Tea good. Based at a riding stables and working complex, so not posh. Parking on the roadside below Wellow village.

Very generous portions! Great location right next to bike trail. Got to see the horses playing around & the sunset which was perfect. They have a log fire too! Wish there was some xmas music playing or something just for the vibes!

Great little cafe run by fun people and beautiful horses. Came here the morning after my cousin's wedding with a family of 10 + our pug. We had actually meant to go to another cafe, but I'm glad we made the mistake as we ended up having a generous English breakfast and a great time with Michelle who runs front of house. The cafe is situated in a livery, and the riders there are so friendly, even letting us feed and play with the horses! (I'd suggest not touching them without permission of course). You can also watch them trot around in the exercise yard.

Great place to stop for a great coffee and a snack. We had just cycled a part of the two tunnels and found this place by chance. 1st class customer service I must say. Bonus was that the coffee was superb.
