Went there for a coffee, a tea and a couple of slices of lemon drizzle cake, the cake looked nothing like the cake we saw on the counter and less 1 cm thick. Since we paid for this before sitting at our table we feel totally ripped off.
Had a really lovely lunch here recently. We were lucky to get a table without prebooking although we were advised that it usually best to book ahead. Food was freshly prepared and plentiful. Service was excellent all round. Very well stocked small farm and gift shop all in a very nice setting. Plenty of outside space if the weather permits and also a play area.
Really impressed with our breakfast; everything felt homemade and super tasty. My veggie breakfast was inventive with chickpea and red pepper croquettes. Lovely shaded outside area and peaceful setting. Lovely, attentive staff.
Lovely farm shop with cafe and animals on site. Falconry shows are given on certain dates and times. Great Butchers!! and lovely selection of farm goods.
A wonderful day here! We started off checking out the animals on site, then we took a long walk in the surrounding countryside, came back to a tasty lunch in the cafe and a little shopping in the store. The cafe has a large outdoor seating area that is family friendly. I had Eggs Royale and hubby had the Farm Burger. Both were great. I love the regenerative farming principles used here and the fun atmosphere.
The farm shop itself is quite small (might be difficult to navigate in a wheelchair). It sells locally grown produce, with the odd farmyard themed products. Toilets are on the first floor, up the stairs. There is a small cafe on the other side of the shop shelving display, which you enter from a different door (which you have to wait until being seated by a member of staff.
Beautiful Village side view just on way from bath and Bristol we went to the farm shop bought fresh sausage and snacks. It's got beautiful Animal horses, pigs and good range of birds falcon, owel.
Fantastic food and staff, good coffee but go for the food it is great. More interesting menu than most farm cafes. A little insight into a more sustainable way of living in the grounds.
