Really tasty brunch spot on a quiet side road. They have boardgames and a good size menu. The Good Bear sourdough was particularly delicious, so definitely recommend that. My only complaint would be charging Β£3.45 for a pot of tea. Water must be expensive in Bath.

While wandering the neighborhood, we stumbled upon this inviting cafe with patio seating and friendly people waving hi to each other - so we had to stay for a bite. The food was fresh and delicious, with a lovely variety of bakery and lunch foods. We got their Parma Ham & Grilled Aubergine sandwich which was delicious + came with lightly oiled salad and their piri piri poached eggs which were cooked beautifully and flavoured well.

Was on call for a pharmacy shift in Bath and stumbled on this beautiful cafe with such sweet staff. Hats off to the chef who actually was very accommodating in making the food vegetarian for me. I truly enjoyed the gnocchi bake, with basil and tomato sauce. Itβs been a while since I have seen cannoli (a Sicilian sweet pastry) I have only had good ones in Palermo (which is a city in Sicily). The pistachio one is must try. Thanks for the service and good food guys- keep it up and I wish you all the best.

Great local cafe. Good coffee, wide range of cakes. Good light meal range. Seating inside and uncovered seating outside in fairly quiet side road.

It has been great to taste the amazing coffee and breakfast here. It was Monday bank holiday so we expected the crowd and full tables at all times. Other than that, the staff is attentive and somehow you can tell this is such a community cafe as you can spot customers at all ages. We love the locally roasted coffee as it got nice aroma and strong taste of coffee. Would love to be back on a one fine (quieter) day.

Bit reluctant to share this Gem, but it deserves a comment for the being one of the best cafes in Bath. Few tourists make it up to the thriving Bear Flat community so you are 'safe' to linger on a lazy afternoon and tug into their sandwiches, cakes and coffees. Everything is home made and great. 5 outdoor curbside tables (quiet street), Kids corner, books and magazines adds to the feeling that you are sat in your Aunt's front room. Note: lunch options usually diminish after 2pm.

Cute little place with plenty of seating that serves as a kind of gallery too by the looks of it. Coffee, cake, lunch, brunch etc! We had the Good Bear, sourdough toast, kale pesto, grilled smoked bacon, fried eggs, Parmesan shavings and truffle oil. Delicious! Had a can of good beer too.

This is a real find. A lovely little community cafe serving the best breakfast we have found so far in Bath. It serves its own coffee blend which is lovely and smooth. A lovely space to just sit and "be". However, best to book a table on a Saturday because this place gets really booked up. They open at 8am though so you could try and get down there super early instead.
