“I had the Full Thrive Breakfast and it was absolutely tasty and fantastic! I enjoyed it a lot, even as a non-vegetarian. The "buttered" toast tasted incredibly real, and the scrambled tofu was a new sensation for me—it genuinely resembles scrambled eggs in flavor and texture. “A lovely place to come for a relaxing afternoon. There are 8 beautiful cats that are quite friendly & enjoyed being gently fussed. The host who greeted us was also friendly & welcoming when we arrived with our party of 9. We all had a nice time & a bonus cream tea! The scones were fresh & delicious. I'm delighted to say that the cats who live here are both happy & well taken care of.”

“A gem of a café. Hidden away on an enterprise estate, seek it out as the food is exactly what you hope to find for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Only one smashed avo item on the menu but plenty of bacon, sausages, eggs, cheese, beans and delicious granary toast. Staff are friendly and chatty creating a lovely atmosphere.”

“A busy little cafe with very nice staff. I only had coffee whilst I did some work on my laptop between clients but other people's food looked very nice and my coffee was nice. Lots of tables so although busy no one seemed to be waiting to sit.”

“We went to the bug Caffè today, and I must say, how amazing it was and how surprised I was as from the outside, you don't see the hidden gem that's behind these windows. “Hursley Cafe is definitely the café we’ve visited the most since moving to Southampton. With its great value for money, we find ourselves coming here almost every Sunday. This is a record of our visit two weeks ago, after our eldest daughter and her friend finished rugby practice in Eastleigh. We ordered Egg Royale, Lasagne, a Kids’ Meal, Mocha, and Hot Chocolate. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were generous. This café gets extremely busy on Sunday mornings, so we highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation to avoid long waiting times.”

“I popped into their cafe as the rains opened up. Picnic table inside a shed. Great idea. I had a generous gluten free bacon sandwich and tea in the dry. I recommend here.”

“I went there today with my daughter and friends, I have had omlette with mushrooms, peppers and cheese, it served with salad. I also had coffee. Everything was nice and fresh. Staff were friendly and kind. I absolutely loved it. I will definitely go back there again.”

“Wonderful shop and café right in the heart of a beautiful village. The shop kept open right through lockdown and this was down to a fantastic team of volunteers and supporters. The trout pate is amazing, but Sharon's cakes are the best homemade cakes around.”

“Service here is always excellent but today was just different level service. As I got to the front of the queue, my train pulled in and so I put my water on the till and said “no time for coffee today”. Matt said “yes there is, I’ve already made it”. Matt had seen me in the queue and made my coffee in advance. Such great awareness. Seriously impressed. Keep it up, Matt.”
