“This is a very handy little shop/tea room. Doesn't offer cooked meals, but does offer, tea, coffee and soft drinks... their toasted tea cakes are excellent value and recommended. They have a couple of tables outside (weather permitting) and a few seats inside...but NOT an abundance. For those who rely on wheelchairs, access is hindered by an awkward threshold. But as they have the seating outside this isn't exactly a game changer. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Recommended.”

“Had coffee here whilst waiting for our family to arrive at the hotel. We sat on the terrace. Helpful and friendly staff were at reception and the lady serving drinks was also extra friendly. They treated other guests with care and even giving water and treats to a nearby couples dog. Inside of the hotel looked nice and the toilets were clean and smelled nice. I did not stay here for long but would like to come back and perhaps try the restaurant next time. Sad to see some of the negative comments but will see for myself soon!”

“Get the ribeye steak and fries with Diane sauce! Absolutely amazing! Fish and chips were equally as good as the fish was fresh and light with the batter! Fries were big fries of tasty goodness- not soggy or burnt. Just perfectly seasoned with the right amount of crispy on the outside! Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant at the Novotel. Service was wonderful as well and there weren't that many people in there so it was quiet and easy to hear conversation with my husband! Absolutely stay here and eat at their restaurant.”
