“Had a really good roast dinner at the Melvern, had the duo combo Roast, was spot on not over cooked with the meat, veg was not crunchy but cooked perfectly, Roast potato were spot on, really impressed with the Roast and service was good good, if you want too find a pub with good Sunday Roast Dinner highly recommended The Malvern Tavern.”

“Much better than your average Spoons. The service is always quick, the food is always well cooked and presented and the staff are always friendly. There's always a good stock of craft beers and gins. A major plus point is that it's not full of the usual Spoons dregs as well.”

“This is one of the more popular venues from the Wetherspoons chain of pubs. The beer is pretty well priced and most tastes are catered for (IPA, session, craft, lager etc) as well as wines and spirits also. You can no longer sit and smoke out the front of the pub but there is a smoking “garden” towards the rear of the pub. The toilets are regularly cleaned and maintained and there are plenty of tables and booths to sit at, depending on whether you want a little more privacy or the space for a large group. As it’s near the centre of Southampton this pub is particularly well located for many people either coming from or going to other entertainment as well as those in port for the day from the cruise ships. It’s typically busy on Saints home days and most evenings/ weekends but during the day it’s always got a “busy” feel as there’s often a smattering of locals drinking or taking advantage of the free refills for coffee and tea. The food is typically delivered to your table within ten minutes and is the standard Wetherspoon quality. I find their menu fairly varied and they’ve taken pains to detail each meals’ contents to satisfy most customers. All in all: recommended!”

“After years of buying expensive, disappointing, greasy pizzas from the large chains I thought I'd try somewhere local. Now my new favourite pizza place! Service was great. Pizzas were fresh, tasty and full of flavour! Such a great variety of flavours on offer and great value. Highly recommended!”

“Tasty and good value for money. Can't go wrong with a £6 lasagne and 2.99 wings! Only at certain times within the lunchtime menu (ends 6pm and no weekends) food arrived quickly. It was nice and quiet. Just what I needed for a lunchtime stop off.”

“Some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. The burger was amazing. They didn’t have a lot of chicken burger choices as it was mainly beef for the burgers even though they were happy to swap out for chicken. I got the Sando and was very happy with my choice. Chicken was the perfect amount of crispy and the sauce and coleslaw weren’t overpowering. We also ordered the fried pickles and jalapeños with mozzarella sticks as a starter which was ok, nothing to write home about. A tray of chicken called ‘the whole coup’ which had some of the best fried chicken I have had. The tenders and wings in the tray were decent, would have preferred the tenders to be crispier. Finally, we had to get a side of buffalo wings with fries. The buffalo wings were great, some of the best I've had. Service was excellent and very helpful.”

“Very friendly and good value. A very pleasant experience as the dog was allowed inside with me when it rained. Don’t forget to pick up a loyalty card as you will want to return! Home made cakes, biscuits and scones as well as sandwiches etc. Seating available outside where there are bowls of fresh water for your four legged friends. Delightful to see the bird using the feeders. Clean loos nearby.”

“The Coffee Corner at Marwell Zoo is a cozy spot for a quick break during your visit. It offers a variety of hot drinks, including good quality coffee and tea, along with light snacks like pastries and sandwiches. The seating area is comfortable, and it's a nice place to relax while taking in views of the zoo. Service is friendly, though it can get a bit busy during peak times. Overall, it's a convenient and pleasant stop for a refreshment during your zoo trip.”

The food was great and you really can’t get seafood boil anywhere outside of London in England so I was happy to find it. Service was great. We were helped by two guys one named harry and the other named Scott I believe but I’m not too sure they were very attentive and friendly and it was an overall really good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend”

“I had a great time. The place has a nice vibe—relaxed but lively, and the music wasn’t too loud. The bar looks stylish and feels welcoming. The drinks were really good. They had a mix of classic options and some fun, unique cocktails. I tried one of their special drinks and loved it. They also have a good range of beers and spirits. The staff were friendly and helpful. They gave great drink suggestions and made sure we were looked after. Prices were fair—not super cheap, but good value for the quality.”

“I come in with my children and Partner after a long drive, lillie at the wacky warehouse, Went above and beyond, and was fantastic with the kids and overall great experience. Our food was spot on tasty, hot well presented and perfect portions I had the mixed grill and was definitely one of the best mixed grill I’ve had in a hunger house, So thank you to the Chef/chefs who cooked it. Definitely recommend and definitely will be returning.”

“Ordered from Totton Grill via JustEat this evening. We ordered their meal for 2 - consisting of a tandoori hot pizza and a chicken kebab and we also ordered some chicken wings. (The meal also came with 2 drinks and we got a FREE cheesy garlic bread.) We live about a 20 minute drive away but the food was delivered piping hot by one of the friendliest delivery drivers I've ever chatted with! Pizza was cooked to perfection as was the kebab. Couldn't find a way to edit the salad options on the kebab via just eat so left a note for the store which they followed to the letter. The wings are proper wings, not the defrosted Iceland wings so many take aways use and were full of flavour! The £6 delivery charge and £30 minimum spend is fair considering the distance. If nobody else was ordering for delivery in my neck of the woods that's a 40 min round trip for one delivery so £6 is actually a steal. Can't understand the few negative reviews on here but cycle through my other reviews and you'll see I'm honest to the maximum when I review. Will definitely order from here again!”
