Cafe in Chandler's Ford

“Hursley Cafe is definitely the café we’ve visited the most since moving to Southampton. With its great value for money, we find ourselves coming here almost every Sunday. This is a record of our visit two weeks ago, after our eldest daughter and her friend finished rugby practice in Eastleigh. We ordered Egg Royale, Lasagne, a Kids’ Meal, Mocha, and Hot Chocolate. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were generous. This café gets extremely busy on Sunday mornings, so we highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation to avoid long waiting times.”

“We dropped in to The Kitchen for a quick breakfast of coffee and croissants and were not disappointed by the quality of food and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. My only complaint is the temperature in the cafe - probably around 15/16°C. Brrrrr! This is not the first time we have experienced it so cold here - it's the reason we stopped coming here regularly.”

“This is my favourite coffee shop. The staff are always super friendly, chatty, helpful and make your order just right, even with annoying adjustment requests (hot chocolate not too hot, boba bubble drink with no boba bubbles). It’s also easy to access with disabled or regular parking. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Karen and Lily are lovely people and are often the highlight of my day out doing errands and getting a drink or snack in between . Thank you!”

“Nice place to meet with friends for morning coffee and snacks A range of drinks at very reasonable prices. Very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a free car park and the cafe is at ground level with no steps .”

“Excellent Chandler's Ford micropub pub in a former shop in a modern building. Eight cask beers on handpump when I visited together with a dozen real ciders. A few tables outside. Very friendly and helpful staff.”

“Come down here from time to time with the kids. Food is lush! Great portions. Good value. Really well cooked. Friendly staff & it's fun to sit on the bus and eat too!”

“We had delicious bubble waffles today, and the staff were happy, on request, to add different combinations to what was on the menu! The food was reasonably priced and the staff friendly! We will be back for another treat at some point! We had an oreo bubble waffle and a peppermint aero bubble waffle.”

“This hidden gem of a coffee shop is a must if you are in chandlers ford! The coffee is amazing and the shop is full of nick nacks to buy! Its better than some full xmas markets!”

“Just been here to kill some time whilst my car was been serviced, I’m not from the area so I wandered in with a gym bag. I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities for a modest sized gym. All new stuff and in a nice room. The reason for the review is the staff. I was clearly a guy wandering through, but I was helped with a padlock (I didn’t bring) and shown around. I use a lot of different gyms when I travel around, this is a nice little gem. Thank you to Brad, who help me get sorted. My car is ready earlier than I expected, so I’m just dropping a quick review. As good service deserves recognition”

“We visit the pub frequently for both food and just drinks and always enjoy our visits. All of the staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The pub has a lovely ambience and if you have young children the outside play area is excellent. Food is of good quality and there is lots of choice. Highly recommend visiting.”

“Took my elderly Uncle and friends to have lunch. The staff were ready with a ramp for his mobility scooter and were attentive throughout our visit. The roast beef was delicious and pudding to die for. Compared to London prices (where I live) this was a very reasonably priced visit. Go give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Excellent pub for sport and socialising with friends and family. Kids always welcome with the bonus of a large garden. Bar staff are always friendly and attentive you will never wait for a drink like you will at other local pubs during busy times”

“I recently came in for a festive meal with my work colleagues. It was a perfect experience from start to finish. Greeted on our way with a huge smile from Erin was a great welcoming. The food was superb, the staff were superb and the whole thing was so welcoming and pleasant. Thank you to Erin and Anna for making us feel so welcome. Will definitely be back next year!”

“Went here for a work lunch and was really impressed. Despite being a large group with a pre-order, the service was excellent, attentive, efficient, and well-organised. Our food came out quickly, and the staff checked in on us throughout. The food itself was delicious and, considering the price, offered great value for money. Would definitely recommend for group bookings or casual work outings.”

“Great food and service with a 2 for £30 deal. There was a good choice with steak, burgers and other options. We were told clearly what was in the deal and served quickly. The drinks came quickly and the food took around 20 minutes to arrive. We had starters and main courses and all was cooked perfectly. The portions were filling and I'd never tasted such tender rump steak. Not at all fatty. The surf and turf burger with the King Prawns and proper grilled beef burger was also full of flavour. I wish there was a Beefeater like this nearer to where we usually live.”

“Peter Greens Coffee shop - Friendly staff, great coffee. Stopped into Peter Greens to look at the furniture and made a pit stop in the Coffee shop. A bit cold outside and it was a real pick me up”

“Brilliant place we go there all the time. Facilities are great. Food and drinks in the cafe are very nice. Wears out the kids! Also soft play for younger ones. Highly recommend.”
