“Arrived here for the first time to be welcomed and greeted with 1st class service from the owner. She treated us like we were regulars! Food was beautiful I have to say and the coffee was lovely also. Great prices here too. A wonderful experience.”
“A hidden gem just off the Boucher Road. As a regular customer I have found the staff warm and welcoming. The menu is wide ranging, and the food is great. Breakfast is class, and I would recommend the Bolt Breakfast if you like a traditional fry, however theres lots of healthier options too. The restaurant is good size with a series of different seating options.”
“We had an amazing lunch at Brew and Bake. I had the pulled pork hash and the other half had cheese sandwich. Coffee was good. Will be back for cinnamon rolls next time”
“It’s a hidden gem, I did not know about this place and it is very close to my house, the coffee was great and the sourdough with humus was sumptuous”

“A very small coffe shop with a great selction of delicious cakes and scones. Seating may be limited inside but on a good day grab a seat outside if you can and watch high street go by.”
“One of the best brunch spots I’ve been to, I’ll definitely come back here whenever I’m in Belfast! We got the Breakfast Bun, peppermint hot chocolate and the Beans on toast, and they were all really good and the stuff was nice as well!”
“Nice little cafe in East Belfast. Tasty little fry up. Excellent staff. Well decorated nice vibe. Will be back.”
“Love everything about this place, food and all staff work so hard and so friendly. Excellent service with reasonable prices”
“Beyond their regular menu lots of specials were on offer; quiche of the day, soup of the day, pie of the day, and sandwich of the day. I picked the day’s sandwich special, the Cajun chicken sandwich, which had tomatoes, rocket, chicken, the sauce, and good thick bread. It was excellent. We had some of their coffee and chocolate cake, and it was great. The place is very popular, but isn’t noisy. A band called The Bankhouse Robbers play live music here on Wednesday afternoons, while traditional musicians play Friday afternoons. It was a cold winter’s day outside but our table was toasty and warm. They have a great garden area with outside seating, for other times of the year. They’re in a 70s extension to the impressive former Northern Bank building of 1905. Service was very attentive and friendly.”

“Had a quick bite here for a last minute lunch. The Chinese wrap was very light and refreshing, was perfect to hold me over until dinner time. Had to revisit and try something new, i wasnt disappointed! This food is so light and refreshing. Thanks :)”
“We had dinner here and the food and service was so good we decided to return again for Sunday lunch. My friend had the surf and turf and I had the rack of lamb. Absolutely delicious and as you are allowed to bring your own wine we came prepared!.”
“Nice spot, great staff, lovely tray bakes”
“Had an absolute great breakfast. Had my fair share of fry’s but the bacon and sausage were of a much higher quality. All together really good food and great value for money. Highly recommend a visit.”
“This charming cafe is a hidden gem! The menu offers a great variety of options to suit all tastes, and the food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel right at home. The cafe itself is spotless and cozy, with a comfortable atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxing breakfast or snack. We were in Belfast for six days and ended up coming back to this cafe for breakfast five times - that's the ultimate seal of approval! If you're a fan of a traditional Ulster fry, look no further - it's a 10/10 in our books. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Belfast, and we'd highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a great breakfast experience.”
“Ordered a birthday cake for an 80th birthday. It was delicious….. nice and light, not too sweet, with chocolate icing, and beautifully decorated. It looked and tasted absolutely amazing. Very professionally done and very good value.”
“It’s a lovely place to get lunch, everyone is really friendly, food was good quality. Would definitely recommend a visit.”
“Easy booking online and reminders etc Food was lovely you could tell it was authentic Thai and a nice atmosphere Myself and my wife enjoyedthe whole experience and I was impressed by the lady whom was running the whole show and not out to impress as the food does that for itself It was a Thursday evening so not as busy I'm sure of like a Friday or Saturday where she might need a hand ☺”
“As a regular visitor to this fabulous little gem, I cannot find fault in anyway. Menu - lots of tasty choices, good price Staff - attentive, friendly, professional Location - quirky, well decorated, vibrant One of the very few places in the city that’s properly dog friendly as opposed to “dog tolerant” If you haven’t tried here yet then I’d suggest getting some and giving it a go, but if you turn up at a busy time you may have a short wait ahead - but this is a good thing, would you rather go to a place with nobody in it - the place speaks for itself. Highly recommended”
