Cafe in Belfast

“We were in on Saturday past for a birthday celebration - 18 of us. We had the armoury pre booked with food platters included. Prie was out host for this, she was absolutely fantastic - Made sure everyone was happy with their food and drinks and everyone really enjoyed. The platters had so much food on them all fresh and hot. We then had table booked in the courtyard - again no issues other than we had to move after a few hours which we weren't aware of (possible mix up in communication). But Tina in the stock exchange worked her magic and swapped a few tables around to accommodate us. She was fantastic, so friendly and helpful and again checking everyone was happy. We had the best nights craic and would definitely recommend for a good night out! We will be back!”

I randomly asked what the dressing on the salad was because it was so nice and 5 minutes after the man told me what it was he came out with a pot of it that I could take away. “Have been driving past here for ages but this time we stopped for lunch and we weren't disappointed. You can choose from the menu on the wall above the counter or create your own meal from the vast assortment of already cooked meats and vegetables. You pay at the till and in no time at all your order is delivered to your table. The decor is American Diner and is bright and cheery. My son had The Big Pitstop Burger and I had sausage egg and chips both were lovely. Can't wait to return.”

“Just devoured a Sunday roast that was delivered to our door. I had the beef and bird, my wife the turkey and ham, both delivered hot and tasted fantastic. Currently on the 5th day of isolation and this has made it so much easier to get by”

“I’ve been looking for a waffle place in Belfast and just recently discovered Cafe Mauds. Their waffle is by far the best I have tried in belfast. My favourite in their menu is the banana and toffee waffle. The banana balances out the sweetness of the toffee and I think they are a perfect combination. Definitely recommending place to those looking for a good dessert place.”

“Very good range of traditional food from breakfast to lunch and brunch options. Great staff with a polite and helpful approach. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Best scones can be found here along with some amazing desserts. Highly recommended as very good for all ages.”

“Had a cooked breakfast and can safely say it was the best I’ve ever had. The food was cooked to perfection, didn’t have long to wait,was asked what way I wanted my eggs done and all the food was freshly made. The meat products were locally produced and the potato bread and soda bread was homemade. There were a varied selection of homemade scones,cakes,pastries on display and only I couldn’t eat another bite I would have loved to try them. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Bangor. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The food was good value for money. The establishment was clean, tidy and bright and airy. I recommend the Olive Tree Artisan Cafe as a must to everyone.”

“This is a lovely cafe with a good amount of drinks and food on offer. I got a raspberry and white chocolate scone which was very fresh and tasty. My friend got a ham and cheese croissant which she enjoyed. Staff were very friendly and despite it being quite busy we were served quickly and with a smile. First time here and will definitely be back.”
