Always great food and service. So much on offer, so plenty to suit everyone’s tastes. Food is served quickly and you can always get a seat. Great spot if you’re in a hurry and need fed quick but don’t want to compromise on good food. Love going at Christmas as it’s well decorated and the staff get festively dressed.

Called in as this place had positive reviews and ordered an ulster fry. I specifically asked for a soft yolk. At 8 quid, bar a few pence, a lot more expensive than nearby competitors. As you can see from the photo, the sausages were dried and overcooked. The egg was destroyed. Nicer decor than some places and the staff were great but if you can't cook an egg.....

Absolutely shocking. Food was terrible, somehow made unoffensive chicken goujons awful and they felt spiritually uncooked, with other stuff I didn’t ask for and didn’t want. The staff didn’t want to be there, and fair enough because I wouldn’t want to be either. Whoever chose green theme should be executed and the vibe felt like we were all getting executed later that day.

We had two of the American breakfasts here. The food was good and the coffee was filter. Toilets were clean. My wife fell outside the door in a dangerous drain (see photo). The manager was not very helpful in her level of assistance but did provide some bandages for her knee.

Have been driving past here for ages but this time we stopped for lunch and we weren't disappointed. You can choose from the menu on the wall above the counter or create your own meal from the vast assortment of already cooked meats and vegetables. You pay at the till and in no time at all your order is delivered to your table. The decor is American Diner and is bright and cheery. My son had The Big Pitstop Burger and I had sausage egg and chips both were lovely. Can't wait to return.

I usually enjoy here and they are good for a fry up but we decided to go for Sunday dinner for a change. Very disappointing. They plate up some cold veg and meat and microwave it. The meat was dry on the plate so once theyve microwaved it, it goes very rubbery and dry. My partner couldn't eat hers. Additionally we were charged Β£2 for some undercooked parsnips and Β£2 for peas. To top it off there are no prices visable for the carvery or the extra charges on vegetable options. Β£10 for your dinner and then Β£2 for each other veg after your first two. We could have had a fresh cooked Sunday dinner in romas or Ted's at that price. I came in not expecting very much but my expectations were still not met. Β£14 for a plate of disappointment.

Food is fresh and warm. Never a cold plate. Plenty of meat and veg on menu. Most food on menu is gluten free.

It's called "The Pit Stop" it's got cheap food. It is what it is. It used to be a scrap yard. Basically you get what you be pay for. It's not an undescovered jem, it's not a bargain. It's a greasy spoon. It's food in your belly and you leave satisfied. If you pay more elsewhere you get more. No bells or whistles , a fry won't have beans or mushrooms and you won't get asked "how is your meal". It's a truckers stop. Ask for a " Coffee Latte" and they will say "what's that". Expect a cup of tar that hits the spot but will taste different daily dependant on how long it's stewed. In summary, cheap street food, grubby but won't kill you. However I don't like that they slagg off other places with signage saying they are cheaper and better. In fact I actually went to the other places specifically because I felt Pit Stop was out of order slagging them off. The other places were not as expensive as Pit Stop said and the difference is price was definatly reflected in the quality of food and environment. A morning fry after a hangover and feeling rough, Pit Stop, a morning fry with the girl you pulled the night before and trying to get a second date, try a proper place. My pics show Pitstop Fry and Salty Dog fry and price. Depends on your mood and budget , but you get what you pay for. Tut tut Pit Stop for slagging and getting facts wrong though... Ps. Head out to Donaghadee and get the best of both worlds in any of the places out there.

The food in here is really tasty and well presented. There's a lot of different things to choose from too. Staff are very polite and attentive. Prices very reasonable. Will definitely be back
