Sadly there is really nothing better than supermarket curries here. Scratch this off you radar like it’s their business expenses. The Lamb vindaloo was comically bland but for a large spoon of chilli powder whilst the C.Tikka Masala looked oddly irradiated with the alternative addition of sugar. A nice place for a cheap date - bring 6 Harp and share a naan bread. Hilariously poor flavour, the kind that takes some effort, makes you wince and wish you’d bothered to cook yourself. Good food awards? Huh? If it was for “Belfast’s worst Indian takeaway” - then perhaps believable. Note you bring your own booze, suggest consuming as much as you can in advance.

Order the mixed kebab on chips, with kebab sauce, no salad and no onions. Kebab came with onions, which I didn’t want. Tasted the coke and thought it tasted different, checked the date as I thought it may have been off, but seen a foreign language all over it, and turns out it’s a bottle from Montenegro/Serbia. Much prefer our own coke. Kebab on the other hand was average, meat was average, chips were nice though.

I haven't been in the restaurant in 6 years+ as I have not been in the country; however, upon returning, I was met by the owner and a staff member when ordering for takeout. They were super friendly and even give free poppadom's and even rounded down the bill by a few pounds. Going back many years before that, I ate in with my friends one time, and the owner gave us free shots of alcohol after the bill was paid. The service is just great, and what I like in businesses. 100% recommend.

Me and my husband had a worse experience today in this place. I will not call this place as a restaurant, I felt this as a teaching institution( only because of one staff, he didn’t said his name. One of the staffs said he is the manager) I am 8 months pregnant, I was tired and we decided to have a happy relaxed dinner. This is the 1st time that we were into this place. They served food, the food was average. The manager was the one who served food, he came to my husband and started the conversation like, “ how long have you been here “ , “ here we will tell thank you for each and everything “. When we asked why he felt we were disrespectful, he shouted. From our bottom of heart we didn’t showed any disrespect. We went there only to have some peaceful dinner, instead we were insulted. One of the staffs listened us and for that we are thankful to him.

Update 23/12/22 Thought I would get a takeaway after a very long day at work, so I phoned for a collection and the food was piping hot when I collected but again like the last time I ordered the chips were shocking. This is the most basic item to be cooked and it was a shocker to me how bad they were. Been a regular for 10 years or so and I've been really disappointed in the food I have received in the past few months. 2 out of the past 3 orders the chips have been cold and overcooked or the rice has been really dry two of the most basic things and it has been wrong. This was a take away and probably my last

Ordered dinner tonight at 5.15pm, rang at 7.00pm to be told it had left the kitchen 5 mins ago, arrived 7.40pm and the food was cold. Delivery driver was really nice but didn’t make up for cold food which cost £25 for a curry and side. Normally visit the restaurant and have had great food. This was a Sunday evening hate to think what a Saturday wait would have been :(

Really delicious food and all made fresh. You can really taste the difference. The only downside is that the portions are a little small.
