   This is hands down the most authentic Chinese food I’ve experienced anywhere in Northern Ireland. You can tell immediately that it’s a place run by people who genuinely care about the food and the experience. The owners are earnest, welcoming, and clearly passionate, and the chef is seriously talented. I eat here at least once a month and the standard has been consistently exceptional. Every visit feels thoughtful and carefully executed, from the flavours to the presentation. It’s the kind of cooking that reminds you what Chinese food is meant to taste like, not the watered down version people are used to. I was genuinely surprised to read some negative reviews because they simply don’t reflect my experiences at all. This place has never disappointed me. If you’re looking for proper, authentic Chinese cooking rather than a generic takeaway, this is absolutely the spot.

   Have never had a bad meal from here! Food is delicious, portion sizes are generous and the food gets prepared super quickly - we live around the corner and can usually pick up in 15 mins.

   I would like to share my experience regarding my recent order from food joy. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. I ordered the salted chili chicken and salted chilli chips accompanied by curry sauce. Regrettably, the chips were undercooked and excessively salty, to the point of being inedible. When I reached out to inquire about this issue, I was informed that this is their standard preparation method. Additionally, I found that the chicken had an unusual aftertaste. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend ordering from this restaurant.

   Chicken curry worse I've had no flavour at all plus the chicken was hard same as the boneless ribs all fat and hard really poor quality of food won't order again from here.

   The food is usually pretty good, boneless salted chilli ribs are class. Avoid the salted chilli chicken as it's like fried rubber. Never going to order from here again as we are tired of waiting around 2 hours for our food and having to call the restaurant.

   Ordered a few things and found a long hair in the fried rice. Rang for a refund and was given the run around. Spoilt our evening and would advise everyone to stear clear of this place. With the problem of covid at these times all we need is takeaways sharing body parts in our meals. Totally disgusting to be served this especially at the times where we have to wear masks when we are expected to eat body hair from them. Hang your heads in shame and expect a call from health inspector

   Ordered a king prawn curry - I live 1 mile away. Over an hour after ordering it arrived. I took one bite of the prawns and was almost sick on the plate - they were very very off, they smelled bad and tasted terrible. I phoned them and they said they would send a replacement beef fried rice - I told them I wasn't risking any more prawns in case they killed me. It took another hour for the replacement to arrive. Very very poor - we've ordered from this place before and won't be going back.
