   The Heath is a large pub/restaurant on the edge of Dibden Purlieu. It has a large car park and is situated just off the main Fawley to Southampton road so very easy to find. It is too large to have a cozy atmosphere and too noisy with children on my most recent visit to hold a conversation. The service, though, is aimed at family eating out and it does this well.

   Tasty and good value for money. Can't go wrong with a £6 lasagne and 2.99 wings! Only at certain times within the lunchtime menu (ends 6pm and no weekends) food arrived quickly. It was nice and quiet. Just what I needed for a lunchtime stop off.

   Really impressed with the great value lunch menu here – £6 for a main is fantastic! I had the gammon and eggs, which was delicious and nicely cooked. The service was efficient at first, but we felt forgotten about later on, despite the pub being very quiet. That aside, it’s a great spot for a budget-friendly lunch with tasty food.

   Great pub, with very affordable prices. I would say the prices of 2022 and not 2024. The quality of the food was great. Pork ribs were very tender, falling of the bones and grilled chicken breast was so succulent. The interior is a bit shabby and in great need of renovation, but service was fast and friendly.

2. Night Shift Rider ★★★★★

   Me and some of my biker buddies stopped by The Heath on a Sunday after a ride. We were specifically looking for a place in The New Forest that wasn't too expensive, and I'm so glad we decided to stop here. The food here was brilliant, and I'll say the only issue I had (if you can even call it that) was the HUGE choice of food in their menu. From steaks, to pies, to full English breakfasts, to special lunch menus on specific days. There's so much to chose from from. I ended up getting a meat platter which came with a gammon steak, a small 4oz steak, chicken tenders and bacon along with some fries. The service was brilliant. We were a party of 5 and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table which wasn't an issue considering we hadn't booked. A member of staff cleared a table for us and we were on our way to ordering food. Price wise, I spent roughly £20 which included a drink which was acceptable. It wad also considerably cheaper compared to other restaurants/pubs in the area. We'll definitely be back! (We need to try out more of the menu!)

   Really enjoyed my visit here, was in the area on business so it needed to be easy access with a decent sized car park! Lunch was super busy and I hadn't booked but they fitted me in. The staff were all really friendly and efficient. My food wasn't cooked right at first (think cos they were so busy) but it was swifly correct and they apologised whcib was really nice (rather than make me feel bad or an inconvenience!). If I lived in the area I would definitely return as my food was fabulous and great value. Highly recommended!

   We ate on the bar side, due to the restaurant side being busy. The food was good and came out in a reasonable time. The only gripe was the parking spaces were not very big. They're ok if you have a small car, but my truck stuck out by about 3 feet. Luckily it wasn't too busy. Wouldn't deter me from going there again though.

   You can find this place on the map and there are also views of what the place looks like within this app. I’m here with my friends and we enjoyed a drink and great meal outside in the sun. Can’t fault the food or service. Didn’t have to wait long. It’s easy to get to and has a large car park next to it. Right opposite the New Forest where you can burn off all the calories you have just eaten. I would recommend it as a visitor to the area and you may have to book in the busier period’s.
