“Went to see wicked for good today at around 1:45pm with my mum who is disabled and uses walking sticks a lovely member of staff called Alex who was around 6ft tall and had brown hair was very kind and saw us struggling carrying our popcorn and our drinks so Alex kindly jumped to lend us a helping hand and carried our drinks for us walked at my mums pace offered to scan our tickets for us and walked us to our seats and put our drinks in our cupholders for us. Alex is an absolute credit to your cinema such a wonderful kind man Also loved the recliner seats super comfy and spacious”

“We stayed for one night prior to our cruise and we will definitely return. We have stayed in a few Southampton hotels but this is definitely our new place to stay. Beautifully decorated rooms with all the amenities you could need for your stay. Lovely selection of tea and coffee and separate coffee machine in the room. There are a lot of stairs but if you have a high floor this is not a problem with staff to assist you with your suitcases. We had a wonderful dinner from the evening menu with delicious wine. The breakfast was amazing in the morning, you will be stuffed and set for the day. All the staff we encountered were great. Stay here you will you will love it. My husband said it was the most comfortable bed he's ever slept in.”

Coupled with the friendly staff and the venue being suitable for kids, we spent a fair bit more time here than we anticipated.”

“The new menu did not disappoint!! The Truffle Maker - Super flavourful double beef smash burger with the extra treat of a truffle gravy for dipping both burger and fries- unbelievably moreish! The Seoul Destroyer - Crispy chicken delight with a little bit of bite in this burger, it paired perfectly with the tasty tater tots- definitely good for the soul! The Coca Cola Pizza - Sweet and saucy, who knew our favourite drink would go so well on a pizza a mouth watering twist on a standard BBQ base- as Revs say... An all round kick ass pizza! We also had some stunning cocktails which are on a 2-4-1 all day every!! We can't wait to come back for some bottomless brunch and a boogie! Big thanks to the team at Revs especially Charlie for the menu recommendations and concocting our delightful cocktails!”

“Just had a great Sunday lunch cooked by Chef Luke. Friendly service from Sam. Roast lamb was great and my wife had a half a roast chicken which she failed to finish - just due to the volume - and to ensure she could fit in some dessert. Cracking crumble and excellent bread and butter pudding with homemade vanilla custard. Great way to end a weekend away. Hoping to book the place for a birthday party next year...”

“Slightly biased as have been coming here since the early 80s, and although we miss the old style pub, it could have ended up much worse than it is design wise. Food quality is back on an even keel and is consistently of good quality and presentation this taking away that level of apprehension you feel when you go to so many restaurants these days. Shout out to the young ladies and men of the service team who provide a very professional level of service in a pub / restaurant which I know for a fact can suffer from some challenging customers at times...”

“We booked Sunday dinner for 10 people and ordered ahead. The service was attentive, friendly and efficient. The food was hot and delicious. Two of our party were quite late due to their young baby and staff kept their dinners back until they were ready with no drama, as soon as the couple arrived the dinners appeared and were still hot and delicious. A big thumbs up for the Southampton Arms. Thank you.”

“The host greeted us by assisting with the door as we approached. Very friendly, showed us to our table and let us pick where we'd be most comfortable. Assisted with removing the chair so I could sit in my wheelchair. Got us started with water and nachos, then sent our server over to take our order. Service was great, very efficient. “Stayed here with family before our cruise. We were able to park and leave our car here for 7 days. Pryia in reception was so helpful, spoke to her a few days before arriving on the phone with a few questions I had. I then met her on check in and she made check in so easy and is a credit to hotel, the staff in the restaurant were also great, the 2 guys and young lady who were working on Saturday 25th Evening were friendly and very attentive. Simmi on sunday morning was lovely, very nice chat with her when ordering drinks . Staff here at all amazing but couldn't name everyone. Rooms were lovely except for too hot and couldn't override the system to change to cooling. Will definitely stay here again when we cruise in the future along with parking.”
