“We did the black taxi tour. Hands down the best part of our trip to London! Ollie is not only super friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable—like, knew all the cool facts and hidden gems you’d never find on your own. Not to mention he is a pretty great photographer and you’ll get some awesome pictures along the trip. We got to see so many iconic sights up close and personal, and the whole experience felt really special. If you’re in London, this is a must-do! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore the city in a fun and unique way!”
“Perfect for solo travelers! Met so many great people from all over the world! The bars were in a super fun part of London and the discounted drinks were a plus! Oliver was an amazing guide!”
“Truly delicious and exciting food - highly recommend the pani puri and aloo firecracker. We went on a weekday so it was very quiet and a nice ambience. The manager was rude and abrasive to his staff in front of us which was disappointing, but hopefully a one-off.”
“Another absolute hidden gem in south East London. We just stopped here for a quick coffee and it was so good, the espresso is really easy drinking and BIG, if you want a decent sized espresso this is the place to go! Also the guy making the coffee of potentially the nicest man in all SE London coffee places, he's so friendly. We'll definitely be back here for drinks, snacks and music another time.”
“Really loved the service and my nails. Rezia was so calm and listened to what exactly I wanted. Even when it took a while to pick a specific shade of blue. She made sure that I was happy each step of the way. I am getting so many compliments on my nails and love showing them off to my friends.”
“Just a delicious- !vegetarian! - sunday roast & perfectly crisp fish & chips being served by host Pete, a cheerfull and perfect host. We love this place!”
“Nice micro bar /pub great choice of beer always changing friendly knowledgeable bar staff”
“Best pub in Swanley by a mile. Incredible what they fit inside, but also the warmth of the welcome.”
“It's simply one of the best coffee shops in Hackney. Really, they do great coffee. It's also a carefully curated grocery, where each bottle of wine, beer and food is chosen with a keen and discerning eye. The owners are lovely people, proud to call it my local coffee shop!”
“Let me tell you about this place; my wife and I had a fantastic dinner here. The food and drinks were delicious. They were able to accommodate us with adding chicken to our pizza given the toppings on the menu was mostly pork related. It was a slow night, so, we had the place to ourselves for a more intimate evening. It's a family-owned restaurant, so, I met the son and he was outstanding. Even game me a shot for my birthday! Will definitely look to come back here whenever I am in London.”
“Another pub we used to visit a lot but hadn't been to for a long time. We stopped in for a quick drink between cinema trips. We ended up chatting with several members of staff and it was lovely and friendly each time. We only had a drink but the food looked REALLY good. It always was stunning and it seems the menu is now much more manageable than it was pre pandemic when we last went. The slightly busy interior is warm and comfortable. The staff elevate the experience and I have no doubt the food will hit the mark. Looking forward to testing that out soon.”
“A must visit for anyone who wants to see our rich tradition of pubs in East London before it's too late. Don't just pose outside making TikTok videos, get yourself multiple pints of beer and make sure you have a good old chinwag with as many people as you can around the tables before getting hoofed out onto the cobbles at closing time. Piano night on a Monday is a great buzz. This place is the only pub I know in inner city London serving Crouch Vale and it's very nice. The ESB will also give you some old strong London flavours if you've never had it before. The staff are cool and I want to see this place stay the same for another 100 years.”
“The staff here were very friendly. I stopped by at the end of a long day in the city and had a very nice meal. I had a fantastic duck liver starter. The steak was delicious. The chips were triple fried and some of the best I’ve ever had. The pub is lovely. Well worth a trip here if you’re in London for a visit.”
“Pleasantly surprised by this backstreet suburban bar. Good selection of drinks including some great cask ales, atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were very cheery and friendly. I will be visiting again, great job!”
“A Charming Escape with Delicious Food and Friendly Service The food is simply outstanding—every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the steak and guinness pie and fish and chips, which was cooked to perfection with generous portions. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring that you have everything you need and it shows in the quality of service. The pub itself is cosy and charming, with a lovely outdoor area that's perfect for enjoying a drink on a sunny day. It's also very family-friendly, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Overall, The Horseshoes is a delightful place to unwind with great food, great company, and a great atmosphere. I definitely recommend it and we will come back soon.”
“It was a great experience with Diva Hair Salon at 8 Ludgate Square! They were very professional and understood well my hair and how to style it subtly. We did a comprehensive balayage process (full disclosure: it was a long process), but worth it! Thanks to Mr Tay!”
“I’ve been travelling for months staying in dozens of 5 star hotels, this is the first one I couldn't find one fault with. The location is great, quiet but in a central part of town. The rooms are comfortable and generously sized. The food was excellent. The stand out for me was the staff, they were genuine, friendly, professional and went above and beyond in every way. This hotel is a must if you want a calm, comfortable and central base while staying in London. Highly recommend it.”
“Absolutely fantastic experience at 1905. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the Greek origins and stories behind several dishes, which really added to the overall dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious. You can tell a lot of care goes into everything they do here. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for amazing food and warm, attentive service.”
“Proper British pub. Old and preserved. Cute little outdoor spot with fairy lights. Short walk from Seven Sisters. Great pint selection on tap. Yet to have the food. Great spot in the sun”
“Absolutely delicious meal! Every dish was bursting with flavor, the portions were generous, and the drinks were the perfect complement. The service was also excellent, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. 10/10!”
“I pop in here every other week. It's a great atmosphere. Me and my partner have done the Christmas wreath making the last two years which is always fun. Played a few of the board games but I've mostly enjoyed the range of beers and ciders. My partner drinks the wine and really likes it. Only had the cheese board and beer sticks but we enjoy them. My favourite pub in Eltham”
“What an incredible find! If you're looking for genuine Italian food made with passion, this is the place. The homemade lasagna, straight from a family recipe, was absolute perfection—rich, flavourful, and clearly made with love. The wine list was superb, and our server's recommendation was the perfect pairing. We finished with a fantastic dessert that was the ideal end to the meal. The best part was seeing the owner in the kitchen, pouring his heart into the food. That passion is the secret ingredient. We're already planning our next visit!”
“Pistachios In The Park is simply one of the most charming, friendliest cafes that clearly takes no shortcuts in serving delicious food of the highest quality. Set in formal, tree-lined garden housing a naval burial site, playground and community centre, the cafe is ideallic for those who want a peaceful ambience. Make no mistake, due to its popularity, it can get very busy but you'll be spolied for choice with space as much as you will with what's on the menu. Ran by husband and wife team, Gary and Victoria and their wonderful team, you can rest assured you'll be met with a warm welcome, fun banter, and chit chat like youre one of the locals, (Even if you're not.) I personally come for the cooked full English breakfast but there is plenty of choice on offer! Everything from sweet pastries, more savoury snacks, all of which are homemade, delicious salads and variety of hot and cold beverages to wash it down with. All the staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. If you fancy something that might not be obviously on the menu, the team will endeavour to make it for you (within fair reason, of course) If you've not yet visited Pistachios in the Park cafe, and you want someting a little away from the regular side of Greenwich, with exemplary quality, this is your spot. You wont regret it!”
“Brilliant local independent family run, proper old skool pub for drinkers. I'm lucky to live right opposite. Great atomosphere, always friendly. Nice seating area at the front. Very reasonable prices. Try it out! There is no food here, but some snacks and small bites sometimes. Now has a nice garden area at the back.”
“A great blend of friendly locals, both young and old, with lively fun entertainment in the evenings. The bar team, led by Serena, is impressively efficient, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve been guiding walks along the lost Hackney Brook for the past few months, and we’ve ended up here afterwards for a few hours—everyone always leaves smiling. Easily one of my top ten pubs in London, and truly a gem in the heart of Hackney.”
“Came in a few nights ago had a great experience, I came back just for the beautiful bar girl (Finn). So lucky she was there when I returned, I didn’t even see her and she was so sweet, made Margarita's, even though they didn’t have all the ingredients. would come back every time just for her, amazing service, amazing drinks and amazing personality. Thank You Finn”
“had a lovely night out, the atmosphere in the pub was very friendly and I gotta say, outstanding service by Tom, he was so warm and patient with everyone. also the music was great, very different what what you'd hear in any other pub, I genuinely enjoyed it. thank you again! :)”
“I went to watch the USA GP last weekend after the NFL match and the atmosphere was THE BEST. They had Redzone in with the other NFL matches and F1, and even screens on the toilet so you can watch it anyways. The food was alright, nothing special and there’s one waitress who is a little bit rude but I highly recommend it.”
“Cozy little pub tucked away in a narrow alley, which gives it a lot of character. Depending on the time of day, getting a seat can be difficult, but there are plenty of spots to stand outside, which works well when the weather is decent. A nice place to stop in if you want something relaxed and a bit hidden from the main streets.”
“one of my absolute favourite pubs - must visit my only complaint is that is there are about ten tables, all of which are booked on a saturday, so there is nowhere for normal people who actually go to pubs without booking a table (psycho behaviour btw) to sit! chips are lovely too”
