I recently visited this restaurant hoping to enjoy a nice dinner, but the experience took an unexpected turn. While we were sitting at our table inside, a man who seemed to be homeless walked in and stole my phone right from the table. It was incredibly unsettling to have something like that happen during a meal. One waitress was very kind and tried to help, but unfortunately the rest of the staff didnβt offer much support. I was told that several phones had been stolen on the premises before, which was surprising since there were no signs, no warnings, and no visible security measures to help protect customers. When I spoke to the shift manager, he apologised and offered me a free dessert, but we had to leave immediately to cancel my bank cards, so it wasnβt really helpful in the moment. What made things worse was that we were still given the full bill, even though we had booked with a discount, and a service charge was added on top. Nothing was taken off the bill despite what had happened. Overall, I wouldnβt recommend this restaurant if you want to feel confident that your belongings are safe. If multiple thefts have happened before and nothing has been done to prevent it, it doesnβt inspire much trust.

Had never heard about this spot until we walked by and stumbled in. Absolutely unbelievable food and beautiful selection of natural wines. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hummus was unreal, and every single thing we ordered blew us away. Very cozy and clean inside. I could eat here every day.

Today we walked past and it looked so inviting we stopped for a drink and nibbles. We were impressed so came back for dinner. The staff really care and provide attentive and knowledgeable service. The atmosphere is spot on. Sophisticated yet relaxed. Food is really flavourful and made with quality ingredients. In a city with so many options it is hard to find the places with quality infused into every dish and glass. This place does that. Had a great evening and will return!

The most authentic Greek food Iβve had in London. The lamb was tender and delicious and tasted just how my Papou makes it. The Cretan pot, Tamara cod arw, and potato confit with grab were delicious with high quality ingredients. Itβs the only Greek place Iβve seen offering Koliva for dessert - something eaten at Greek memorials and funerals. Really high quality and authentic and fresh. Very cute atmosphere as well. A must visit!!

Absolutely fantastic experience at 1905. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the Greek origins and stories behind several dishes, which really added to the overall dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious. You can tell a lot of care goes into everything they do here. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for amazing food and warm, attentive service.

Amazing new restaurant in the heart of London! Great atmosphere and above all fantastic flavours bringing back beautiful memories from back home. Visited with a colleague after work to see for ourselves what is the hype with 1905 London and now we see why. Everything we tried from the Dakos, Gamopilafo and cocktails were exceptional There is also an extra area in the basement which is great for private dining bookings or celebrations Will definitely be back to try the brunch menu which is a must according to the staff

Went there tonight and was pleasantly surprised. 78 for two people without any drinks is a bit on the expensive side. But worth it in my opinion. The service was great and attentive and we got complimentary snacks at the start which was a very nice touch from the owner. The Koliva was very nice! Never tried such Greek food so it seemed interesting and authentic :) would definitely go again!

This cozy and nice restaurant with authentic Cretan cuisine at the heart of Fitzrovia has left the best impressions. Twisted but yet traditional dishes, beautiful presentation and welcoming hosts. They have a good selection of wines and the staff are very knowledgeable ready to make great recommendations.

Beautify and aesthetically harmonious dining experience. What attract me and my friend to come inside is the design- light, modern, elegant. When we were seated, the inside decor presents to me a visually pleasing harmony. From the chairs and tables, to the wine menu with soft leather cover, half glazed plates with the restaurants name stamped, table placemats/paper has and an unique fibrous texture, and the slightly matte cutleries, everything immerse into a harmony. Food was delicious, not a Greek/Cretan cuisine expert in any aspect but enjoyed every item we ordered. Some has vegetables that Iβve never tasted before which comes as a nice surprise. Would say overall on a slightly saltier side, next time will surely order some wine - they seem to have a great selection!

The best Greek Cretan restaurant in London. Definitely worth a visit to try their authentic and traditional recipes. Try raki, boureki, dakos, snails and gamopilafo (wedding rice). You think you are actually in Crete. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list, which includes some great selections.
