“A really lovely pub. We like to eat inside and love the decor. Staff are super friendly and service excellent. (Server was Cello; last time we came it was Poppy- both lovely as was everyone else.) Four of us are vegetarian and chose very nice dishes (carrot soup; hummus dish; pimientos de Padrón; veggie wellington; goats cheese salad; fish and chips. We also love the soda bread.) Thank you for a very pleasant evening. (Photo from previous visit of delicious Camembert dip)”
“Great pub with great beer from a big selection! If you don't know what to order the staff will help you and you can try different beers. Food was also really good! Tip class cheese burger made fresh. Service is excellent!! Highly recommended!!!”
“Fantastic Sunday roast. The Alma Trio (beef, pork and chicken) was huge and delicious but you need a very big appetite for it, like mine! Massive Yorkshire puddings, cabbage, red cabbage, great roast potatoes and carrots. We also had a side of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets as well, both of which were very nice. I had the sticky toffee cheesecake for dessert as well which was delicious too!”
“Reliably one of the best pubs going! I've been going to the Kenton semi-regularly for a few years now and it consistently delivers on all fronts. Staff are fantastic, beer selection is great, and the atmosphere is always buzzing. Prices aren't too bad either! I also recently used their private karaoke room for the first time for my birthday party. This was absolutely superb - really easy to use and well organised, fairly priced, and we all had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this pub to anyone and everyone”
“Fabulous first visit to the monthly brunch sessions on 1st Saturday of each month. Absolutely cracking. A great range on the brunch menu without being overwhelming, good choices and lovely selection of sides/extras. Enjoyed a beautifully presented plate of food that was amazing value for money! Also, try a brunch cocktail, or enjoy with juice or a cuppa. Or a pint! But do go and try. Staff super friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings, a warm hubbub of chat, a really chilled atmosphere for a good feed after a big night out, a catch up with friends/family/neighbours or colleagues. A local for more than just locals. Dog friendly, family friendly. Just really friendly. Brilliant!!”
“I had the 6-course menu for lunch, and everything I ate was delicious. I drank a glass of champagne and was pleasantly surprised to have received a cake for my birthday. The service was impeccable, and the setting was beautiful. I absolutely loved it.”
“Lovely pub with a good selection of draught beers and perfect Guinness. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended.”
“The Guinness is one of the best in London. Oh the chips with Roast chicken mayo is something else.”
“I had my 37th birthday here. I met with one of the managers beforehand to reserve a space for 40 people. It was a smooth process from start to finish. On the night, it had a very chilled fun vibe and over the course of the night, the music went up but you can still hear what the person next to you was saying! Service was fantastic, the guys at the bar were super attentive and friendly! We had ordered 30 mini-burgers, these were delicious. I couldn't recommend this venue for your birthday or just a casual drink with friends!”
“Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.”
“A unique character of a pub. With a great kitchen. Been coming for a while but the new menu is quite something. Try to get there for the taco and margaritas deals.”
“Stopped off for refreshments during our thames path walk. It's slightly back from the Thames. Good selection of craft beers.. Staff were friendly, and it was good to see that they used disinfectant between seatings as most pubs just take the glasses and forget to wipe. Hope to return so we can try out the menu as it read well and on seeing the food served to others in the pub it smelt good too.”
“This place is great. Super good pricing and the food tastes really good. I've asked for a ramen and it was amazing. But if this wasn't enough, the BREAD was mind-blowing. Haidy is super kind and was a plesure to meet her.”
“The best pub in West norwood! Friendly community vibe, great garden and brilliant air con when it's really hot. Also a large shed for hire out the back which hosted my daughters birthday parties for years, free and accommodating to whatever suits your needs. Highly recommended for unpretentious vibes and welcoming atmosphere, love this pub and Sarah and Robin ❤️”
“Gorgeous, comfy room with personalised touches. Beautiful toiletries. Clean and well maintained. Friendly helpful staff and tasty top-notch Sunday roast with perfect wine, and the best cooked breakfast. Lots of attention to detail that we really appreciated. It was quiet in the pub, not a lively atmosphere, which was surprising as it’s great food and relaxed, gorgeous surroundings. Maybe because it was a Sunday out of season? Would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area.”
“Had a lovely Christmas dinner on Christmas Day , the food was good and loads of meat, bit stingy on the veg but non the less it was good food. HUGE Yorkshire pud. The staff, as always , were amazing so welcoming and friendly , the beer cold and a good selection too. Our stay was only marred by a loud, drunk, loads of money , family who really didn’t give a hoot about anyone but themselves , not The Crowns fault but did mar the event for the other patrons there!, hence 4 stars for atmosphere . We love this venue and will be back many times.”
“What a fantastic little micro pub this is, probably one of the better ones in Bexley / SIdcup area. Small beer garden out the back is a proper hidden gem”
“Went for a lovely lunch at the Bedford Arms with friends. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t the greatest—the pork schnitzel was thick and lacked flavour. On a happy note, we received absolutely amazing service from Kirsty! Thanks to her, we’ll definitely be back”
“Lovely little place! I found them on Instagram and after seeing the daily cakes etc posted on there I had to check them out. I went on a Saturday morning, sat outside and had a lovely brunch (Eggs Benedict) and chatted to a couple of ladies outside whilst we all had coffee too. I then treated myself to an amazing cake that I took home for later! Service and food was great. I plan to go back tomorrow morning :)”
“Can't praise this pub/ restaurant highly enough. Six of us turned up without a reservation on Sunday lunchtime. Despite being fully booked nothing was too much trouble for them. They put together some tables for us and laid them with beautiful cutlery and napkins. The food was excellent, the service impeccable. They even let us choose food that was not on the Sunday menu. This is the pinnacle of customer service, wish all restaurants were like this.”
“In a very busy Sunday afternoon without a reservation they were so kind to manage finding a table for us and our children ( much appreciated, thank you) Good food, warm atmosphere, I highly recommend.”
“This was my second visit, and it was just as amazing as the first! Located on the 38th floor, the views are incredible, and the whole atmosphere feels special. The service is top-notch — the staff are always so friendly and helpful, really making you feel looked after. The food is outstanding — the sea bass, the sushi, everything was absolutely on point. It’s one of those places where every dish tastes fresh and full of flavour. Definitely one of my favourite spots for a treat meal!”
“Great spot close to both Chalk Farm tube and The Roundhouse, friendly staff at check in and check out. Room was “cosy” but functional. Bathroom clean and tidy and shower was a great pressure. A little noise from the pub downstairs but it wasn’t intrusive.”
“Krishna took great care of us, explained the menu, when needed. Delicious food in a great atmosphere, quite pub like with the football on (Arsenal v Bournemouth!) but sound down, so definitely not intrusive. Would recommend.”
“A very clean and accommodating hotel. Prime location. Absolutely centrally located to many of the city's attractions. Within walking distance or in some cases a 30 minute taxi ride or less to very popular areas of the city. The bar at Primo is well maintained, modern and impeccably clean. The bartender there the night we were there was a true professional. His name was Denis, and so far on our trip, he has been our favorite bartender with no close second. Drinks were spot on. He has a great personality and a great sense of humor. Bravo Park Plaza, you have gem on your hands in Denis.”
“Had an annual trip to London for Christmas with my fiancé and we both loved our stay here. Friendly staff, spotless room and a lovely hotel bar for post exploring drinks. The breakfast was very good quality both days and it was such a reasonable price overall. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back!”
“I had a wonderful stay at the Holmes Hotel on Chiltern Street in London. The location is fantastic—quiet yet perfectly positioned near Marylebone, with great restaurants, shops, and transport links just a short walk away. The hotel itself is stylish, warm, and full of character, blending classic London charm with modern comfort. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax after a busy day in the city. The staff were outstanding throughout my stay: friendly, professional, and always happy to help with recommendations or requests. I would highly recommend the Holmes Hotel to anyone visiting London and would happily stay here again.”
“The reception staff at the hotel, Clarence and Chloe were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism. They were always ready to assist with anything I needed, offering helpful information and going out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. Their friendly attitude, efficiency, and attention to detail truly made a difference. Excellent service!! They are a real asset to the hotel!”
“Great place to take your family. Friendly environment, tasty food and good drinks. Definitely worth a visit. Place is clean and the toilets were in great condition. External garden area available.”
“Every single item on the menu is absolutely incredible. The full english breakfast was incredible, the pizza was cooked perfectly, the spaghetti bolognese was the best I've ever had. Every bite of everything was delicious. Came 3 nights in a row.. I wish I could take this place home with me.”
