Stayed over on a Sunday night. The room was very nice. Ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing. My roast was perfect. The place was packed which spoke volumes about how good it was going to be. Definitely stay and eat here again. Top notch.

Fantastic Sunday roast. The Alma Trio (beef, pork and chicken) was huge and delicious but you need a very big appetite for it, like mine! Massive Yorkshire puddings, cabbage, red cabbage, great roast potatoes and carrots. We also had a side of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets as well, both of which were very nice. I had the sticky toffee cheesecake for dessert as well which was delicious too!

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at the Alma , started with the excellent scallops then moved on to the main event . The roast was perfect ! Jude our server was brilliant in explaining the menu and helping us pick the best roast for us . We had the pork belly which was great not too fatty , the rump and the sirloin . Also added the cauliflower cheese and the pigs in blankets . The portions were very generous, but it was certainly not quantity over quality. Can't wait to visit again to try some of the other bits on the menu.

We visited this pub to try the Thor's hammer, the portions are huge. We were four and took some leftover home. It was tasty but have to say that the meat looked overcooked, a little bit dry in my opinion. The staff were very attentive. Recommended

Dropped by The Alma for Sunday lunch and it was honestly one of the best roasts I’ve had in long time. The meat was cooked beautifully Beef and Lamb, tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The roast potatoes were golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, exactly how they should be. The Yorkshire pudding was huge and light, perfect for soaking up the rich, silky gravy that tied the whole plate together. The sides were just as impressive: creamy cauliflower cheese yum, perfectly seasoned vegetables, and pigs in blankets that were a proper treat. To top it all off, the Bloody Mary’s were spot on , bold, balanced, and nice spicy pickle. The service was amazing too, really welcoming and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. A top-notch Sunday roast , everything you could want and more.

Fantastic service. Friendly and helpful staff who went the extra mile to make the stay pleasant. Great room with comfortable bed. Slight hiccup with getting the TV switched to Sky. But compensated by the great interaction with Eddie.

A great pub right next to Wandsworth town station. Plenty of dark wood and a massive island bar. Fast friendly service. The pub dog is a great help. Plenty of beer on hand both cask and keg. A great find!

Very nice local pub. Visited “The Alma Pub” on Sunday to try their Sunday roast, chicken and veg wellington were both delicious, potatoes nice and crispy with generous portion of gravy. Enjoyed it with mega pint of red wine (they have very good selection). The staff were really lovely, I had a great time with my friends yesterday. Thank you The Alma Team x

Classic English pub and great location in the heart of the borough. Great ambience, loads of seating both outside and inside. Staff is nice and efficient. Prices on the higher side but wide variety of food options and they taste great. Best enjoyed outside in a group with lots of beer flowing!
