Katie looked after us perfectly. Food was excellent. Must say the background music was the best I've ever heard in a pub at a perfect volume. An eclectic mix of blues, Christmas songs and to hear Can't Find my Way Home by Blind Faith topped the afternoon off. Well done Young's

We visited this lovely pub after our hospital appointment, and I must say, it’s one of the best pubs in Kingston! The food was delicious, and the service was absolutely superb. The decorations for Christmas were delightful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful experience there!

One of the best kept secret in Kingston! Cozy atmosphere, great music, absolutely amazing food. Highlight of our visit was the scotch egg with sweet mustard brown sauce. We wound up ordering another it was so delicious. I hope they bottle this sauce, because I'll be back to buy it if they do!

Superb roast, pork beats the beef, will try the chicken next. Lovely mackerel starter. Superb fish and chips, shame they ran out of malt vinegar but home’s close enough that we ran and grabbed some Sarsons to enjoy it with. And the best bit: no service charge!

I had a truly wonderful experience this past Sunday! The tomato salad was absolutely exquisite, a real standout dish. Beyond the delicious food, the atmosphere was incredible. There was a palpable buzz and energy that made the whole visit so enjoyable. It's clear that Albert is back on top – everything was perfectly executed!

Gorgeous decor and ambience. The staff there were totally out of this world. I was there working as a digital nomad during the day and despite the fact the young lady on the bar was alone in the morning, she went out of her way to check I was okay whilst managing other customers. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Food was delicious. Total gem of a place! I'll be back :)

One of the Kingston’s local treasures. Having so many brilliant family time here. Excellent friendly services, delicious food, nice atmosphere, with cosy indoor rooms, conservatory areas with heating and garden seatings. Dog friendly.

Food nice but orders did not come out at same time. Was able to sit beside our bikes. Nice staff. I would go again with no problem.

I arrived late in the afternoon and was made very welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the Sunday Lunch was delicious and generous. I hadn't realised that the gratuity had not been added as all other pubs I have visited add this automatically. I didn't have my reading glasses on so didn't realise that I had to had this myself. I feel sad that I hadn't left a tip and as I was on a local one off visit am unsure if I will be able to return. But it was one of the best Sunday Lunches I have enjoyed.

5 years ago vs today. Me and my partner used to frequent this pub, and went back today feeling nostalgic. Such a mistake. The food was sub-par, the place is understaffed and took 20 minutes before anyone came to see us (in a half empty pub) the stuffing looked like dog food and the entire meal was out in less than 5 minutes. Clearly nuked in the microwave. Such a shame.
