“We hosted our daughter’s 1st Birthday party in the Star’s private function room (a beautiful room). Elle did a fantastic job and ensured that the day ran smoothly! I had a lot of specific asks and requests and Elle did a great job in fulfilling them. Communication from booking to the event itself was great. On the day Elle pre-empted all our needs, the chef was great, food was lovely and the service from the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back for the next big celebration!”

“This is a traditional Micro pub in the pure sense as it only serves real beers tapped straight out of the barrel. They also do a selection of wines, ciders and some ready mixed spirits. If you want to drink a glass full of fizzy water full of chemicals (lager) then this isn't the place for you. If however you would like to try out some of the incredible variety of British beers (some better than others depending on your personal taste), this is the place to go. “We had THE BEST lunch at The White Cross Inn. We had just been to the pumpkin patch down the road and this was the perfect way to end a nice autumn day.
