I don’t normally write a review but wow. Service is polite and welcoming Food we had was perfect and properly cooked and very tasty Something insignificant like the corn on the cob was like it was just took off the garden 10 minutes ago and tasted like sweetcorn should. My beef rib was so close to how I cook mine and the meat just fell off the bone. The hunters chicken was remarked to as the best they had had. With the added onions on top. Toby and Peter made us feel welcome. Highly recommended place to visit and eat.

This might sound weird but I haven't been in a pub for years. I think I got a bit put off with loud youths taking over, sweary people shouting at football and boring pub grub years ago. Well, I was just about to start cooking a lasagna at home and I just couldn't be bothered ha ha so we nipped into our local pub, my 2 children and I. It was 4pm on a Saturday and the atmosphere was lovely, there were older people with dogs, families eating, groups of young men watching football and having lots of laughs. There was a group of women having a lovely afternoon and a large table of people celebrating a birthday down the other end. The place was clean and tidy and didn't smell like I remembered pubs smelling (nasty). My daughter has a severe nut and sesame seed allergy so when ordering I was asked 'any allergies' so I obviously said yes. The manager took it all so seriously, I was really impressed. He got a tablet and showed me how to navigate checking for allergies, it was very easy and he really put my mind at rest that everything would be cooked separately and none of her allergens was in the food she picked. Food all came out hot and tasty. Both kids had adult Hunters Chicken and I had chicken tacos that were very fresh and tasty. We really had a lovely time together. So much so that we spotted the Sunday Roast option, which was the next day so we went back today for a Sunday Roast beef. The plates were very big and again, hot and tasty. The prices are very reasonable and again on our return, quite early at 12.15pm it was getting busier with families, couples, dogs and groups of friends either drinking and chatting or having meals and the manager was again there, took our order and checked for allergies and he had remembered what her allergies were. I was really impressed and safe to say that, that won't be our last visit.

Staff were welcoming and friendly, food was delicious, only some of the other diners let the atmosphere down - but I’d highly recommend! Great value for money!

It is a good solid pub to go to for a meal and drinks. It is Greene King network so menu is pretty standard and quality of food satisfying. The range of beers is very limited though.

I have been going to the Jolly Fenman for the past forty years. It is always a good stop off whether you're looking for a quick pint or two, you want to watch some sport or you are out with the family for a meal. In the summer you can enjoy your food and drink in the sunshine, when the English weather allows. There is a good range of food, but there sometimes can be a wait during busy times.

My son and I go to watch the football ⚽️, always friendly staff. It's pub food and drink, so something to eat and drink while watching. Great banter with everyone in the pub too.
