Never had a bad experience here.Staff are always lovely and super helpful when I have questions about the menu. Quick service and good food, can't go wrong!
Ye Old Blackhorse is a fantastic local pub. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the drinks are always spot on. It’s the kind of place you can settle into and feel at home. Definitely one of the best pubs in the area.
We had such a lovely time at Ye Olde Black Horse. The place has that perfect mix of charm and comfort, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The food was delicious, hearty, and beautifully presented, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s the kind of pub where you can relax for hours, enjoy a good meal, and feel right at home. We’ll definitely be coming back!
I recently visited black horse and was really impressed by both the service and the ambiance. The place has a great selection of drinks and a comfortable vibe. Cindy went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect , her recommendations were excellent and she made us feel right at home. Highly recommend stopping by!

Very welcoming by all staff. Good service for food and drink - always very attentive. Looking forward to spending time in the garden area.
I turned up at opening time (12.00), but the doors were locked. I gesticulated to the staff inside that I couldn't get in, but they just pointed to the door. This charade continued a few more times until decided to try elsewhere at 12.10 as the doors were still locked.
Pub offers great food normally with quick service. Pub is popular Sunday lunchtime / evening and Saturday evening particularly when it has football or rugby on TV. Great Pub to bring children with nice garden and parking available in its own car park.
One of the Nice Pub I have encountered in a while, Staff is Polite and their service is also fast on Regular Day but if you will come here at Sunday there's always a rush and 1 hour waiting time on food which is mind blowing but I can understand when it's a rush it's a rush otherwise their service is fast
