The venue is lovely the food is fresh, succulent and mouth watering with their own twist in every dish (who knew pomegranate went so well with a breakfast). They are just so friendly and welcoming I would suggest walking in when you’re local.”

“We stopped here for a spot of dinner and we were very impressed. The restaurant was very quiet but it was early evening, and we were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was good and value for money. There are alcoholic and soft drinks available and an extensive menu The restaurant is clean and modern and the staff Very friendly and helpful.”

“We hosted our daughter’s 1st Birthday party in the Star’s private function room (a beautiful room). Elle did a fantastic job and ensured that the day ran smoothly! I had a lot of specific asks and requests and Elle did a great job in fulfilling them. Communication from booking to the event itself was great. On the day Elle pre-empted all our needs, the chef was great, food was lovely and the service from the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back for the next big celebration!”

“The Horse and Groom really is everything you want from a great pub it is warm, welcoming, and full of character. The staff are friendly and attentive, always making you feel right at home. The food is top-notch with generous portions, packed with flavour, and you can tell it is freshly cooked.
