   Came in yesterday with a friend and had the the festive burger, and tried some of the Christmas cocktails. And would just like to say what a delight the staff were. From the moment we entered to the moment we left we were treated with such warmth. Can’t wait to come back and try some more of the 241 cocktails on offer as there’s so many. And really can’t say no to 8 for £10 on shots!!

   Came in on a Friday for dj Dan, amazing atmosphere great dj. Staff were very good, definitely recons the festive bake nice cheap and good! Sonny served me on floor and bar was great service would definitely come again!

   Beware! The bottomless Yorkie, gravy and roasties is a lie!! The rudest and uninvited place ever been...Bought some friends here visiting from abroad and thought the great reviews, this place would be good. Staff was taking the orders slow and the pub wasnt busy Asked the staff for extra Yorkshire puddings and waited 30 minutes but it never came. When to the bar to see but no order was put through, the staff were reluctant to put the order, were asking a lot of questions and had to ask other colleagues. Waited another 20mins, and only gave 1 Yorkshire pudding. Then shortly just as we about to finish, the staff came and took the plate away so we couldn't order more and left the other plates where other didn't order extras. Didn't clear anything else on the table.... Parking is ridiculous as well, don't pay it but when you get a fine, email the pub and they'll sort it out... This place is a joke, ruddest staff ever met. If you didn't want to serve then don't advertise it. They clearly not bothered about customer service...they know what they're doing clearly not good

   Came here to have fun with my mates for a karaoke (plus they are at age 18+) get kicked out because they didn't have a physical id on them but they had it on their camera roll, I tell the security they are at age and I known them for years just for the job worth to tell me who I am? In a rude tone, Sorry I been coming here since 18 I knew the pub well and it was my comfort place and I get treated like crap, the bartenders are wonderful people, but the security are jobs worth and a disgrace with words I won't be coming back until they learn to use some manners and change of security because I'm not being spoken to like crap by a security who a complete disgrace and have no way of talking to people with respect.

   Yesterday we had an amazing time at the kids Halloween party. The kids did some pumpkins carving, there was music and face painting. The food was delicious! The kids really loved! Wait for us next year ✌️✌️

   Come here with my daughter and husband for lunch. The service was lovely and staff were very polite. Becks and dawn were the staff who serviced us and I can say they definitely made us feel very welcome. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Food was out of this world, definitely Recommend the mixed grill. Will definitely be coming here again 10/10 from us

   Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was really good. I’m not someone who drinks and they has a large selection of non alcoholic beverages to choose from. Would recommend this to all my friends and family and will definitely revisit soon

   I love this pub, I like to pop in after work during the week for a couple of pints and some wings and it's perfect for that. The wings were lovely and came out pretty quickly and the pints were cold and very reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly too I couldn't fault my visits recently

   Wow, so so pleased with this pub, we’ve never been before but needed a pub close to my mum’s care home and not too far from where dad lives, found it online this morning, checked they allowed dogs and then good to go. Absolutely wonderful service from one of the managers ‘Regan’, she was so very kind, caring and understanding to the situation we were in with both parents having health issues. She made certain we were happy and everything we needed. Our waiter Matty was wonderful, such a kind and pleasant manner, took time to speak to mum and noticed she had left her walking stick. Both Regan and Matty were so kind, taking both parents can be a challenging situation and they really made our lunch out special. The food was absolutely delicious, we had a lot of the small plates and set it up on the table like a buffet, it was perfect.

   I moved to Blackfen in 2008 and have been a customer here on and off ever since. I must say in the past when this place was under different management and staff there were times when I avoided it mainly due to poor service and long waiting times for drinks. I have found that now and probably for about the last year this pub has improved ten fold. The staff are friendly, the food is great value for money and the pub has a generally good feel to it. Well done to the management and staff
