“My mother and I visited this place on the 09.10.25 during lunch time hours. We were greeted with a beautiful smile form a young lady that was very happy passionate and welcoming. She designated a very nice table with a good view by the window overlooking the best view. All other staff were very kind and attentive including the restaurant owner . The atmosphere was nice with great menu selection and very good music playing in the background. The young lady was efficient and always took care of my mother's needs and even spoke in my mother's mother tongue spanish. The food was great, always well presented and very delicious. We had alot of fish dishes and they were tasty and well cooked . Overall it was a very pleasant experience lovely restaurant very clean on a beautiful sunny day. Upon existing the restaurant we were very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone working that day.Also the lady owner was actually near the entrance she very nicely spoke to us briefly with a smile and said our goodbyes. “Been living in Brighton 7 years and this is by far the best fish and chips we have had. Everything we have had is delicious. We don’t live that close and the delivery is always hot and as quick as they can. Generous portion sizes too and a varied menu for a fish and chip shop.”

“Hands down the best Bulgarian meal I’ve had outside of Bulgaria. Went to Donchevi Kitchen & Bar today with my other half for lunch. As I’m from Bulgaria, I always wanted to share my cuisine but previous attempt have not been successful due to lack of quality original Bulgarian ingredients or chef abilities. This restaurant on the other hand tasted like home. We had kufteta, shopska salad, mousakka, parlenka and chips with Bulgarian cheese. Everything was not only authentic but also delicious. I loved it so much I had to ask for takeaway bag to take some home. I definitely recommend the restaurant to both Bulgarians and to everyone keen to try something different which they will enjoy. My partner is a bit picky with their food as they are British and tend to go with Italian food or British but they loved it too.”

“First visit to this restaurant. We went for a family dinner. Turned up without reservations but we were welcomed and seated. We ordered mixed chicken sharing kebab. It was delicious and very tasty. Service is fast could be more smiley and friendly. The food was prepared quickly. It’s priced reasonably. Inside is modern, clean and interior is airy. It has a nice small outside area.”

“Had lunch with my young family and had the Sunday burgers. There was good selection of burgers too cater for the stuff tastes and on Sunday they have a £10 offer. The cabin fries are also a must try. Would happily go again and enjoy their beer garden”

“I always loved to have lunch here, especially the seafood options. This time, I stopped on a busy afternoon in the middle of the holiday rush. They were kind and happily offered me a table. The combo of Barbeque prawns and Caesar salad was a tasty choice for a quick lunch!”

“We ordered the chicken platter for 2.it had more than enough meat for two people. We thoroughly enjoyed it as it was all cooked to perfection and was so juicy. I loved the red cabbage salad that came with it, however they've stopped doing the pomegranate dressing which is a shame! The cous cous is very tasty as well. The restaurant has a good vibe and staff are really helpful. They serve Efes beer as well.”

“Stunning cuisine. I'm not a salad lover but Izmir Bar and Grill have absolutely nailed it! It was a friend's birthday and already from the starter, we knew we had winning meals. The dessert was exquisite. Most impressive was the portion sizes. Not too much or too little - but just right! East Street restaurants be careful. “We had travelled from Hertfordshire for a day out in Brighton The atmosphere at the Ivy is excellent a beautiful blend of Art Deco luxury and contemporary style, with high ceilings, vibrant artwork, and that signature lively buzz that makes every occasion feel special. The service is truly where The Ivy excels. Our waiter was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was handled with smooth, effortless professionalism, from cocktail recommendations to clearing courses perfectly in sync. The food was excellent we had starters of Crispy Squid and Duck salad followed by mains of Guinea fowl cassoulet and the Queen Scallops and Prawn linguine. The Ivy Brighton delivered a sophisticated and completely flawless experience.”
