This was a beautiful night out for my little sisters birthday. The service was faultless and the food was impeccable. Will definitely be returning!

Antonia was super attentive and amiable. The ambiance at “Browns” was so calming and welcoming; so much so that dining alone didn’t feel awkward. Great breakfast…I highly recommend the steak and eggs!…YUMMY! I will make sure to dine here every time I visit Brighton A++++

Browns is as usual a strange experience, sure of what it is and unsure of who I am while there. I ordered food which was both edible and eaten. The mango and champagne sorbet dessert was good so that ended my meal nicely. Unfortunately the food is mostly British style which leaves the restaurant struggling for qualities such as flavour and contrasting texture. The server was great and very helpful, the spider was also very friendly.

We came in after a bit of a chaotic morning and asked for an open spacious table and we where seated in almost a greenhouse, with plants and a high ceiling with sky lights it was beautiful. We had a starter of Courgette Fritters, which where great but I think the yogurt could have had mint it it rather than just scattered on top. For our mains we had the mango and feta salad which was such good value for money, we also had the fennel and orange salad which I cannot recommend enough! If your an adventurous eater please please try it! It’s maybe one of the tastiest most interesting things I’ve ever tasted! And the duck and watermelon salad which was tasty but the duck was hard. We love this place ended up staying most of the afternoon as the atmosphere was lovely! Our waiter was fantastic too, a lovely gentleman. Thank you!

I came here for lunch with my friend and we were not disappointed. The service was immaculate and we had help ordering 4 starters and the octopus main to share. There was plenty of food and it came out perfectly. I love seafood and the octopus and scallops were fantastic. I would highly recommend for a lunch and the price was worth it.

Came here as a large party for dinner on a Friday, so I'm pleased they managed to get us a table for 9. Service was very good, and our waiter was attentive. The food came out fairly quickly too. I ordered the squid for a starter and chicken schnitzel for my main. I was expecting the starter to be smaller so was very happy when that came out. The schnitzel was breaded well and had a good amount of crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, great as schnitzel can have the tendency to be dry. Pleased with the portion size and the cost as it definitely seems you get your money's worth. In addition Browns seems like it would be the perfect place to take a date.

I came last week for Afternoon Tea with a group of family friends and it was not the best experience for me since I am vegetarian and the majority of the savoury selection on the menu was either seafood or meat but we managed to arrange some adjustments with the friendly staff, however, I did not enjoy the adjustments that I was offered, which was avocado added to almost all of my savouries and some cucumber. I felt that something more flavourful could have been there instead, as this was £22 I was paying. I did enjoy the cheese and pickle sandwich. I have seen that on their regular menu they have a bigger range of veggie options at a lower price which I think I would order instead of the Afternoon Tea, if i were to come again, and hopefully those dishes will be more filling than the afternoon tea.

My friend took me here for a wedding-eve lunch. It was delicious. I had goats cheese & beetroot salad to start then the Strak Frites for mains. Great flavours, great service, even congratulates me on my upcoming wedding when they enquired if there was a special occasion for the bottle of champagne. Can't fault the experience. The staff were lovely, our table was out on the street & perfect for people watching whilst not too busy to feel bothered by it. Thanks guys, it was the perfect lunch.

Had a really good fish n chips. Batter nice and dry (I hate slimy batter.) My friends had various other dishes and we were all very pleased with our food. Bit of a mix up with the table, which was chosen and booked a whole month before yet wasn’t available on the day. I’ve since learnt that it’s not always possible, so do bear this in mind. The table we were given turned out alright. Many thanks to our hosts for inviting us as much fun was had by all. Cannot fault the table staff as they were very attentive and ‘bon appetit’ to the chef. Would definitely go again.
