“I always loved to have lunch here, especially the seafood options. This time, I stopped on a busy afternoon in the middle of the holiday rush. They were kind and happily offered me a table. The combo of Barbeque prawns and Caesar salad was a tasty choice for a quick lunch!”

“We ordered the chicken platter for 2.it had more than enough meat for two people. We thoroughly enjoyed it as it was all cooked to perfection and was so juicy. I loved the red cabbage salad that came with it, however they've stopped doing the pomegranate dressing which is a shame! The cous cous is very tasty as well. The restaurant has a good vibe and staff are really helpful. They serve Efes beer as well.”

“Stunning cuisine. I'm not a salad lover but Izmir Bar and Grill have absolutely nailed it! It was a friend's birthday and already from the starter, we knew we had winning meals. The dessert was exquisite. Most impressive was the portion sizes. Not too much or too little - but just right! East Street restaurants be careful. Izmir Bar and Grill is leagues ahead ❤ Special mention to our lovely waitress Jasmine. Thank you and Management for a delightful lunch out.”

“We had travelled from Hertfordshire for a day out in Brighton The atmosphere at the Ivy is excellent a beautiful blend of Art Deco luxury and contemporary style, with high ceilings, vibrant artwork, and that signature lively buzz that makes every occasion feel special. The service is truly where The Ivy excels. Our waiter was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was handled with smooth, effortless professionalism, from cocktail recommendations to clearing courses perfectly in sync. The food was excellent we had starters of Crispy Squid and Duck salad followed by mains of Guinea fowl cassoulet and the Queen Scallops and Prawn linguine. The Ivy Brighton delivered a sophisticated and completely flawless experience.”

“Absolutly phenomenal. We ordered a mixed kebab and chicken wings with salad and chips. The chicken and kebab were very juicy and delicous. The staff was very friendly and polite. Overall the best kebab i've ever had in brighton.”

Michael made our visit special and engadged with my 3 year old neice making her visit fun. Overall the escape bar I would rate higher then 5 stars if I could”

“We decided to enjoy a roast at The Egremont and were lucky to arrive early enough to get the last table before they filled up with 100 pre booked roast dinners I ordered the lamb shank, while my friend chose beef, both served with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, mashed swede, broccoli, carrots, and parsnips—much more than we expected! We also shared a giant portion of cauliflower cheese and some massive pigs in blankets, which we affectionately dubbed The Egremont sausage surprise. The food was delicious and plentiful, and I even shared some of the pigs in blankets with the neighboring table, & bought some food home - If you plan to go, I recommend making a reservation! “Best kebab in Shoreham! I had an amazing experience at Shoreham Charcoal Grill! The kebabs were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served with fresh salads and warm pitta bread. The quality of the meat really stood out, and everything tasted authentic and made with care. The staff were friendly and efficient, and my order arrived quickly and piping hot. This is definitely my go-to spot for kebabs in Shoreham. Highly recommend to anyone craving a tasty, satisfying meal!”

“We had a lovely experience from start to finish. We called to see if they had food and the lady on the phone was so nice and accommodating and chose a lovely table for us. The smoked chicken Sunday roast was amazing. Something we've never had before! And we had the pancakes for dessert, one word: WOW! Best dessert ever. The chef obviously put a lot of love into that. I'm sure we'll be back if we're in the area. Thanks to all the staff for being so kind on a Sunday evening.”

“Had a brilliant meal, and the staff made my day and my birthday. We went late afternoon and they had just cleared the room after a big party. I really wanted to sit by the window and watch the sea, as living in Milton Keynes, we are completely land locked. They cleared a table so I could look out having my dinner. The staff (waiter and barman) went above and beyond, and the drinks and meals were fantastic. A faultless experience, and I would not hesitate to go back or recommend them”

“A Hidden Gem – If You Can Get In! The Cyprium Bar & Grill in Lingfield truly is a hidden gem — but getting a table there felt like a mission in itself. The online booking system didn’t seem to yield any response, and trying to get through on the phone was equally frustrating. It took sheer determination and persistence to finally secure a reservation. That said, once we were in, it was absolutely worth the effort. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff attentive, and the food was genuinely excellent — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Service throughout the evening was friendly and efficient, striking just the right balance. Interestingly, our server mentioned that it’s often best just to turn up. In the worst-case scenario, you can be seated in the bar area, which has a similar menu and still offers a great experience. If they could streamline the booking process and improve their responsiveness, this place would be a knockout from start to finish. But once you're there, you're in for a real treat.”

Good prices and amount of food is well worth the wait. All food cooked to order, fresh, hot and full of flavour. A regular pit stop for us walking to the stadium which is about 20 minutes away. “My friends and I booked through First Table, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The restaurant is on Boundary Road, quite a way from central Brighton, but the interior is worth the trip — beautifully decorated and full of character. We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, who offered some great suggestions. We tried their Turkish white wine, which was spot on, then moved on to starters and mains. The highlight for me was the lamb casserole — absolutely heavenly! What really sets this place apart from other Turkish restaurants I’ve been to is the pricing. Even without the 50% First Table discount, the menu is very reasonably priced. The only downside for me is the location, as it’s quite far from where I live (Preston Park). Still, I’d happily make the journey again for their food. Dined for: 3 Meal: Starter + mains + drinks Total bill: £109”

“quite an unassuming little place nestled in the business of george street, there was nobody in there as i was passing at lunch time however had previously read online that they do good food. i had the chicken club burger and oh my goodness, i don't say this lightly, but that was the BEST burger i have ever had! delicious home made chips as well. it was a perfect little spot in the sunshine people watching, eating gorgeous food. if you're at that end of town definitely give it a try! the chef & girl at the till were lovely too, very attentive.”

“What a fantastic little country pub. Food is absolutely delicious (particularly the roast tatties...!) Staff are very welcoming and friendly, Chris the landlord is a charmer such a nice chap, makes the pub feel like a home. Out of all the pubs in Alfriston, The Six Bells is by far the best and least pretentious. Proper English pub overlooking the church serving great food, beers, wines and spirits. Will definitely be back...!”

“My mother and I visited this place on the 09.10.25 during lunch time hours. We were greeted with a beautiful smile form a young lady that was very happy passionate and welcoming. She designated a very nice table with a good view by the window overlooking the best view. All other staff were very kind and attentive including the restaurant owner . The atmosphere was nice with great menu selection and very good music playing in the background. The young lady was efficient and always took care of my mother's needs and even spoke in my mother's mother tongue spanish. The food was great, always well presented and very delicious. We had alot of fish dishes and they were tasty and well cooked . Overall it was a very pleasant experience lovely restaurant very clean on a beautiful sunny day. Upon existing the restaurant we were very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone working that day.Also the lady owner was actually near the entrance she very nicely spoke to us briefly with a smile and said our goodbyes.
