Doesn't look much from the outside but it was ok inside. Full of Manchester City fans down for the 1730 game against Brighton at the Amex so a bit noisy. Food was good & staff were friendly. Had a discount voucher for a free main meal if you bought another main meal which we did. Glass of Merlot was £9.00 and a pint of Carling was around £6.00. overall the bill came to £36.00 which wasn't to bad. Would go back but only if there was an offer available.

Had a brilliant meal, and the staff made my day and my birthday. We went late afternoon and they had just cleared the room after a big party. I really wanted to sit by the window and watch the sea, as living in Milton Keynes, we are completely land locked. They cleared a table so I could look out having my dinner. The staff (waiter and barman) went above and beyond, and the drinks and meals were fantastic. A faultless experience, and I would not hesitate to go back or recommend them

I'm not usually a Harvester person but this place is fantastic. It is in a great location by the pier with beautiful views of the pier and sea front. I was greeted promptly by a smartly dressed manager at the door, Nolan I believe his name was. Despite the business he found me a table quickly and service from India was great. I was able to tuck into my unlimited salad and soft drink v quickly. I ordered a flatbread and was impressed by how much chicken was I there and the flavour and speed of service was great. Highly recommend and will be back soon, next time will bring my kids.

Honestly surprised about the reviews for the place - made me concerned about booking in for a Harvester meal for Christmas Day But then again usually negative reviews outweigh the bad, so proceeded with caution! I can say that it was a really solid experience and made my first Christmas eating out really special. My partner and I recently moved to Brighton and with family being away/train strikes, celebrated together with a lunch booking at The Madeira Booking process was smooth. Really appreciated Sam (the Manager?) giving me a call, confirming everything and allowing us to pre-book. Arrived with a warm welcome, seated quickly and had really exceptional service - didn't catch their name, but it's Ophelia on the receipt (hope we can share feedback? Order #2686) Shoutout to Ophelia - really responsive, confirmed our pre-ordered meals, super prompt with food but not rushing us, checked we were all okay and even double checked we were okay with Dairy for the desert (we asked for Oat milk coffees and they picked up on whether dairy Ice Cream was okay or not - very good attention to detail!) I don't think servers get a good enough recognition - it's Christmas Day, people are manic, but they seem to handle it well from what I could see given the pressure they must have bene under Foodwise, pretty solid! I had the turkey dinner, was good. Filling portion, nice roasties, though the veg was a bit watery (roasted would always be my preference). Parsnips and yorkie were a little *too* crisp - so dropping the score slightly. Deserts and drinks, great. Partner had the seafood starter and a steak - good all around, bit salty on the chip seasoning (something Harvester seems to have added recently-ish) Topped up with a cheesecake and a nice view of the sea/pier. A good place, exceptional service (especially given the pressure of the day) and nice location. I'd only say the toilets need A LOT of attention - I've seen cleaner 'Spoons! But again, a little leeway given how busy it is. Will be back with the family sometime I'm sure!

Absolutely enjoyed every mouthful of delicious food. The salad bar was lush. Staff we nice. My only gripe...it was a beautiful sunny day and the windows were so dirty we couldn't see out! Shame. Other than that. We will definitely go back.

I love to visit Madeira Brighton with my kids. The food is delicious and the service is top-notch. Plus, they have a great variety of games and toys to keep the kids entertained while you enjoy your meal. I always leave with my wallet feeling a little lighter but my heart feeling full!

I went there last night with my friend, and even though it took a few tries to get my main right, it was worth the wait. Trevor, our server, was absolutely brilliant and he was so invested in getting everything fixed. The manager was amazing as well, apologizing to us in person for the mistakes. I will definitely be coming back, but I do advise patience on busy Saturday evenings as mistakes are bound to happen if the kitchen is overwhelmed. Hopefully things go smoother on a less crowded weekday!
