“Very nice little restaurant. We were hesitating to go because the Google rating was only 4.1 at the time, but we thought it's clearly worth more than this. The atmosphere was very intimate and relaxing, the food was delicious (the ox tail stew is fantastic) and not that pricey compared to a lot of tapas places, staff was very friendly, and service was very quick.”

“I’ve been to The Grenadier Pub a few times now, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is pretty good value for money – generous portions, tasty, and fairly priced. The staff really make the difference here. Kiera always greets you with a big smile and delivers excellent customer service – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Hallam is also a pleasure to deal with – always polite, professional, and helpful, adding to the great experience. It’s the kind of place where you feel looked after and appreciated as a customer. Highly recommend if you're looking for a chilled spot with good food and great service. I’ll definitely be back!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Rockwater Bar and Grill. The food was amazing all the service staff were friendly and tended to our every need. I made a request to make my wife’s birthday extra special and they went above and beyond. I live 250 miles away but be sure the next time I’m in Brighton I’ll be back!! Rock on Rockwater!!”

“I hadn't been to the Swiss Cottage in years and was pleasantly surprised. It has a large car park which was a great bonus for me. The food was very good, hot and cooked to order. There were a lot of choices and many special offers. They also had so many gluten free options. My friend said her meal was good and tasty. The staff were very attentive and there was a lovely warm atmosphere about the place. I will definitely be returning especially for the Fizz Fridays offers”

“Simply excellent, food is sumptuous, staff very helpful and friendly. The menu is varied and the staff offer a great explanation of the choices also if you have any allergies too. Highly recommend this location for a business meal or family meal.”

“Our waitress Debbie was absolutely perfect. She was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring throughout our visit. She asked about allergies, checked that our meals were okay, and made sure we had everything we needed. When my 85-year-old mother felt cold by the window, Debbie kindly moved us to a warmer spot. She finished by saying it was lovely to see us and wished us well as we left. The food was fine and the drinks were served quickly, but it was Debbie’s warmth and attention to detail that really stood out.”

“Always a great place to spend time and dine with friends/family. Very spacious seating areas, always friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of parking. The food is excellent and we will be returning again. As of writing this review the inaugural Oktoberfest menu has started and I couldn't be happier !”

“Visited on Sunday 14th December 2025 at around 5.30pm and ended up waiting about 40 minutes for the drinks to be served and then a further 1hour for our food to come, the steak was not very hot and very chewy. The place was not very busy and the staff were struggling to cope the 2 waitresses Maxie and Mia were the only saving grace and tried their best to appease the situation. The resturant needs more staff both in the kitchen and in the resturant”

“Atmosphere- 5/5 Drinks-5/5 Food-4.9/5 Service- 5/5 Having Dinner at Ollie's was the best decision me and my friend made to close our day trip to Brighton, before heading back home to London!!! I cannot fault anything that we ordered. From the fragrant Rice and Peas, to the Fresh Salad and Coleslaw to the Creamy Mac and Cheese.The chicken was cooked to perfection, very well seasoned and fell off the bone effortlessly. Blown away!!! I have been to many and I mean mannnyyyy restaurants and takeaways that sale Caribbean food. Rarely anyone ever gets the whole menu right. Ollie's is a definite Top Contender in my TOP 5! When I'm in Brighton again I will definitely be eating here again.”

“Popped in for dinner as a treat after a busy day. Food was really lovely - probably the nicest Wimpy I’ve had - and the staff were super nice and friendly (I had the OG quarter pounder meal followed by a Wimpy Whirl). Thank you so much!”

“Apart from delicious fish and chips and roasts and great service, it’s a very friendly and diverse place, everybody feels welcome and safe here - very child and dog friendly. Out of 3 pubs in Marina - Master Mariner is always our choice. Fantastic place to stop for meal or drink any time of the day or watch sport on a large TV screen. Always a real fire on a cold day Without exaggeration - this place is a part of Brighton’s history”

“Not just for one meal but going there since refurbishment totally consistent the greeting from Hannah (Land Rover girl) and the rest of the staff, the food that doesn’t cost a fortune and is way above the average pub standard and good value. “Fantastic service from the amazing staff, especially the bar/reception teams. I requested a room with easy access and they accommodated me in room 5, which had (appart from 1 small step) level access. Lovely bar and reasonably priced drinks, I had the nachos which were outstanding. A few small gripes: They do not supply any toiletries. The TV is quite small. Bar closes at 22:00. Otherwise, flawless and highly recommended.”

“Brazilian BBQ served on swords endlessly along with a side bar of other foods from meatballs, lasagne, onion rings and chips. Great drink selection, had a sweet strawberry lemonade that hit the spot just right. Overall atmosphere was very chill, staff super friendly however the red/green card they give you was kinda small so if you go make sure it's visible”

“Kateryna was very good, she was welcoming and very positive which makes a big difference in the overall energy of the restaurant. The food was really good, pork ribs was the best, salad bar was also clean. The place is clean and newly refurbished. Definitely the best harvester i’ve had out of all branches.”

I love that you don’t overflavored the beef and chicken and you can still taste the meat. We ate the whole platter! Thank you! Will be back again.”

“Nikki and the team were brilliant. We had a large group and with the pre orders given to them a couple of days prior everyone's food came out hot and in great time. Staff here are always really nice and the kids get to play in the park, even with the cold weather. Great lunch catch up with the family and we will definitely be coming again. They were also brilliant when we had some car issues and went above and beyond to help us out. Thanks guys.”

“Decent place to come for an English breakfast. Was served relatively quickly, the hash browns were nice and crispy, butter was missing but I'm sure if I'd of asked for it it would've been brought over. We have also been here for drinks in the past and again, no problems for a busy Saturday night. Was served pretty quickly and drinks were decent!”

“Just been to Weatherspoons at the Marina Brighton. I have to say I was very shocked at how absolutely lovely the whole place was, it's situated over 2 floors with plenty of seating and bars on both floors. It is situated right next to the Marina so you have lovely views of the marina from both floors. Also what impressed me was how very clean and tidy it was, with lovely decor with lots of wood features. large solid wooden staircase. We ordered our food and drink using the Weatherspoons app, which made it so easy. (You can also order at the bar) Our drinks arrived after 5mins and our food took another 5mins. we thought it would have took longer as they were very busy, The food arrived hot and tasted lovely. Great service from the staff. We had 3 main courses. 3 side dishes. 4 beers. 3 desserts it came to just under £20 each which is very good considering when we were last in Brighton we ate in a pub and just had one solitary burger which cost us £13.50 and a beer was £7 and we left hungry. So we'll done Weatherspoons. O and not forgetting the free 4 hour parking which is a massive bonus. Many Thanks guys”

“Perfect for a quick snack. I'd never had a Korean corn dog before, so I can't comment on authenticity, but it was really nice! I recommend the spicy sauce. Ordering through a machine, simple and efficient, and the man who served us was very nice.”

“Basic Wetherspoons. The building is quite ordinary and the layout is one big rectangle on the ground floor the toilets miles away as usual. Staff and locals and friendly. Good mix of tables and booths. Don’t spend too long choosing your coffee or you’ll get some tutting directed at you. Enjoy!”

“New owners have taken over this pub and they are doing an amazing job. Food is fantastic, you get loads for your money. It has free juke box and pool on a Monday. They show all sports. The owners have created a great community feel to the pub. I'm really pleased we have just moved here - my new local!!”
