Decent deals on the food. Food is very good. The rooms were nice. Overall a nice place. Would stay again.

Amazing price, comfortable clean rooms for what you pay. Staff were lovely. Located out of the town, but still close enough to do what you need to do

Fantastic service from the amazing staff, especially the bar/reception teams. I requested a room with easy access and they accommodated me in room 5, which had (appart from 1 small step) level access. Lovely bar and reasonably priced drinks, I had the nachos which were outstanding. A few small gripes: They do not supply any toiletries. The TV is quite small. Bar closes at 22:00. Otherwise, flawless and highly recommended.

We visited for a birthday party. The venue was nice enough with good views, but the food was awful, cheap and basic. I would recommend using the venue, but bring your own food. One of the worst dishes was nasty chicken nuggets and the outside was like sweaty unmentionables.

Stayed here overnight on our way back from a couple of nights in the New Forest. Stopover, so no high expectations but everyone was so welcoming. Rooms are basic but clean and perfectly adequate, equipped with all the usual amenities. Shout out to Hannah who ran the Thursday Quiz what a great evening. Food was great. Joined forces with four of the locals and couldn't have been made more welcome. Won the quiz - prize tab behind the bar. Will be coming down for marathon next year. Hopefully can get a good deal. We'll done everyone!!

Reasonable prices for the area and a nice quiet location. Only downsides oddly enough is perhaps the water in the shower was too hot! Very friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Beds were slightly on the soft side.

We had a wonderful Christmas lunch yesterday at The Gather Inn . The Turkey was melt in the mouth and the Christmas pudding was absolutely delicious. We had the pleasure of being served by the delightful Becky that kept us very entertained by her unusual and interesting facts. Fantastic experience will definitely be returning.

Absolutely perfect for the stay that we needed and a little bit more than we needed. Not in the center of Brighton but that didn't matter to us as a taxi was only a 10-15min journey but you can also get good food and alcohol at the The Gather Inn - what more do you need? Add into the mix very welcoming and friendly staff, we will definitely going back if we ever have a night out in Brighton again!

A fly in visit, one night. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. We had a room at the top of the hotel, there is very narrow steep steps to get it. The room was clean, well presented. The ceilings were low could be a nuisance if tall. Lots of plug sockets, and storage spaces. A comfortable space, I would recommend. A fair price to for a night.

Amazing Sunday roasts - with our friends we had the chicken, beef brisket and vegetarian. All were excellent with generous portions. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. They also put on one of the best pub quizzes in Hove on a Thursday night.
