A lovely little tapas - delicious food, reasonably priced, feels authentic inside and nice staff. Would definitely recommend for both a quick stop tasty snack or a larger dinner with friends. Good for veggies too.

I love this place. Only disappointment, a lack of lo-no alcohol beer on offer. I would recommend stocking the Estrella 0.0%, a fine complement to the regular Estrella that is available here.

Bad food. Served meat when I specified we wanted the vegetarian set meal (seemed they thought it was our fault even though I made sure to repeat we wanted the vegetarian one and I pointed at it on the menu). No music, bad lighting. Charged full price for the food and 2 glasses of wine even though they gave 2 vegetarians meat croquettes (I haven’t eaten meat in 15+ years) and we couldn’t finish the rest of the meal which was not good regardless. Honestly don’t waste your money here

Very nice little restaurant. We were hesitating to go because the Google rating was only 4.1 at the time, but we thought it's clearly worth more than this. The atmosphere was very intimate and relaxing, the food was delicious (the ox tail stew is fantastic) and not that pricey compared to a lot of tapas places, staff was very friendly, and service was very quick.

Small cute Spanish restaurant in Brighton. I had small plates (tapas). The Spanish omelette, calamari and gambas were nice, but i really wanted to try croquetas and they didn’t t have any left. Still in my list to try.

I was longing for some really nice tapas and this place delivered. Really cosy environment and welcoming staff which could make you think you were in Spain! The tapas were regular tapas size and the quality was excellent. I especially loved the cod fritters, the cheese and the Spanish omelette. All dishes were very good but loved these the most. Would visit again!

I’ve never left a restaurant so angry in my life. Ten Pimentos Del Padrón for £6? Are you kidding me? £7 for six tiny frozen cod balls. Try serving this in Spain and you would be laughed out of the country. We insisted on the 12.5% service charge being taken off being taken off. £50 and we left hungry. By rights this place should go out of business.

I’ve never reviewed on here before, but I felt moved to warn people: the owner has no scruples and is ripping people off. We went for dinner, spent £50 and left feeling like we’d been pickpocketed. We could have prepared this food for £5. The waiter patronisingly pointed out that tapas is small dishes. Well you’re given bigger for free in Spain with every glass of wine bought. This place brings shame on decent Spaniards running restaurants in Brighton. Avoid this place at all costs.

On a busy Friday night in Brighton I stumbled on Solera. There was a rare outside table and I needed food before a gig… so I sat down and ordered. Going for a bottle of house white Rioja coupled with garlic ‘fries’, fried goats cheese and sherry chorizo I sat back and waited… but only for three minutes for the wine (which is lovely and perfectly acceptable) and another 5-6 mins for the food. Which. Was. Delicious. The fries I’d expected to be chips… but they were lovely little potato cubes covered in a tasty garlic sauce. The Chorizo was generous and sat in a really rich sherry sauce. And the goats cheese… well I could have eaten it all night long!!! This isn’t a ‘cheap as chips option’ but if you want to spoil yourself… this is the place…
