“We were a group of 14 who decided to try The Little Club after hearing good recommendations from friends that had dined there. We were not disappointed. We were upstairs next to the bar (Very Handy) and had pre-ordered to assist the chefs beforehand. We ordered large sharing platters of Sizzling Grills as well as the battered aubergine and the fish masala. All the starters were amazing and went down extremely well. We had various main courses all of which were very good and served alongside naan's and rice. Overall the food was fantastic and the service from the staff was exceptional. If anyone needed a new beer they were delivered very quickly and little things such as a spillage was cleaned up instantly. Those little things make a big difference. I would highly recommend The Little Club and especially the starters which were awesome.”

“Excellent very nice and local venue. Good food, veg and none veg with live Asian music most nights for all multicultural clientele groups. Ample free car parking, special discounted price delicious curry nights, best chilled drinks and fabulous musicians performing most nights. Great asset is their landlord and land lady (pradip and bindu ) as they are amazing very customer service focused management. They always welcome all customers and give every individual their undivided attention and professional service. “Had the Red Leicester Cheeseburger and Fries!! it was Beautiful!! The fries are cooked just right! Crispy in the outside fluffy on the inside! The budget is juicy and full of flavour!! You definitely need to be hungry though as this is one filling burger! Definitely worth the price!”

“Absolutely beautiful food. Fresh nan bread and proper curry and Sizzler dishes. Food was Fairly priced and drinks are a great price too. It was nice to have a good selection of Non Alcoholic beer for a change. Very tasty dishes and a comfortable restaurant atmosphere.”

“Fantastic Meal. Food was fresh and the customer service was first class. Cameron, the supervisor, was absolutely brilliant. There were two new staff working, Eden and Alice who equally as polite and helpfull. It was interesting to watch Cameron training them. Calm and composed. “I have had a take away from here before and it was good so decided to come here on a Friday night, rang up and booked table with no wait so good and lady on phone was nice. The place itself inside is clean nice with fire plave on the TVs, the only thing I would change is that it was a tad too bright inside for a late night meal. Food itself was absolutely amazing and came out reasonable quick and the service was good. This place is now my favourite place for Indian food and we were able to doggy bag left overs which I had the following day A++ on the food.”

“The food is of top quality and at the right price, service is always good, nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is to our taste nice and relaxed, so we can sit and talk. When it's busy the atmosphere changes slightly - so good to hear people talking and laughing rather than looking down into a mobile phone. Don't hesitate, book a table and enjoy a very relaxing meal, we have tried most of the main courses on the menu and all are equally good as each other if one were to be picked as a favourite then Chicken Tikka Karahi is my go to main course the chapati, naan, rice etc.....just choose your favourite and you are on to a winner of a dinner.”

Served with such passion and loved hearing all about the history of this remarkable building. “Went here the old horse n hounds has gone. This has been completly redone internally, its very nice and modern inside. The food menu has lots to choose from I went for the ultimate burger which was very tasty. It took a while for the food to come out even though it was not very busy. Apart from that it was great and will visit again. Also as a bonus the booth we sat in had a tv just for us which kept our lil one occupied with a film on.”

“A favourite place for my family and I. We've been coming here for a number of years. The food is very good quality, decent portion sizes and good value for money. The kid's Sunday roast meal is particularly good value. They do some good deals for families too. The service has always been excellent. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. The restaurant area is great - spacious and clean - and outside there's a small playground for the kids to play. Parking is free and very convenient. Also, upstairs they have a soft-play area called Wacky Warehouse which is good if you have kids - we sometimes go to Wacky Warehouse in the morning and then go downstairs to the restaurant for lunch afterwards. Overall, I would highly recommend this place ☺️”

“Xmas meal group booking on 10th December at the Friary .The booking was for 23 people who are not easily pleased !!!! The whole experience from start to finish was great . The standard of the meal &service provided by everyone was excellent especially under the challenging circumstances as it was the day of the world cup quarter finals . All of our party said it was the best meal we had eaten and that goes back many ye The table decorations and the reserved area of dining surpassed our expectations . The whole of the team were great from waiting staff to bar staff and not forgetting the kitchen staff behind the scenes .They were all very professional ,friendly and good ambassadors for your venue . Nothing seemed to much trouble for anyone . I can definitely say the whole of the team at The Friary went above and beyond for us We will not hesitate to use you for any future events and also for ad hoc visits /dining .”
